AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO
CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT NO. 50414
This Amendment is entered into by and between the City of Fort Worth (hereafter
"City"), a Texas home rule municipal corporation, acting by and through Valerie Washington, its
duly authorized Assistant City Manager, and ReCollect Systems, Inc. (hereafter "Contractor"),
a corporation existing under the laws of British Columbia, Canada, and acting by and through
Luke Closs, its duly authorized Director of Operations, each individually referred to as a"party"
and collectively referred to as the"parties."
WHEREAS, the parties have previously entered into City of Fort Worth City Secretary
Contract No. 50414 and Addendum (the "Contract"), which was executed on March 20, 2018;
and shall expire on March 19, 2019; and
WHEREAS, the Contract is for the purpose of providing services and support to the
City's garbage collection efforts and includes collection calendar, reminders and print calendars,
problem resolutions, admin dashboard, standard waste wizard, embedded widget, online mobile
app, data integration, accessibility and customer engagement; and
WHEREAS, the City and Contractor now wish to amend the Contract to provide
additional services pursuant to the original Contract.
NOW, THEREFORE, City and Contractor acting herein by the through their duly
authorized representatives, enter into the following agreement to amend the contract:
1.
Section 5.1. Fees. Section 5.1. Fees shall be amended to include subsection (c)
Interactive Gaming App fee of$5,000.00.

Appendix "B" ReCollect Services. The ReCollect Services included in the Contract as
Appendix `B" shall be amended to include the following tasks:
Gaming module to educate children in a fun and engaging way to help them learn what
materials they can recycle, reuse, reduce or send to the landfill, which includes:
• Customization-the following aspects of Game will be customized to reflect the City and
l�► its configuration of solid waste services:
o
RECENEC} Cityscape—to reflect the municipality's skyline/landmarks

o Collection streams—associate materials with curbside and drop-off services.
Customize depot names, cart(or bin) shapes and colours.
o Name of the game.
o Choice of up to fifty materials for disposal.
o Additional two illustrations for materials or rewards not yet available.
• Metrics - Game aggregates usage data to provide the following metrics to administrators:
o A virtual waste audit-the number of wrong guesses associated with the most
frequently wrongly placed materials, and the number of times for each material in
each wrongly chosen waste stream.
o Monthly reporting of number of games played and top misunderstood items.
• To be implemented for both the City's ReCollect mobile apps and web app.
3.
All other provisions of the Contract which are not expressly amended herein shall remain
in full force and effect.
