A RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING TO BE HELD IN
;w THE CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS AT THE MUNICIPAL BUILDING IN THE
~ CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS, ON MARCH 15, 1988 AT 10:00 A.M.,
FOR THE PURPOSE OF CONSIDERING THE PROPOSED CHANGES AND
AMENDMENTS TO ORDINANCE N0. 3011, AS AMENDED, WHICH IS THE
COMPREHENSIVE ZONING ORDINANCE OF SAID CITY, AND PROVIDING
THAT SAID HEARING MAY CONTINUE FROM DAY TO DAY UNTIL EVERY
INTERESTED PARTY AND CITIZEN HAS HAD A FULL OPPORTUNITY TO
BE HEARD.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS:
That at 10:00 O'clock A.M., Tuesday, March 15, 1988, the City Council of the
City of Fort Worth, which is the legislative body of said City, will hold a
public hearing in the Council Chambers at the Municipal Building for the purpose
of considering changes and amendments to Ordinance No. 3011, as amended, the
Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance of said City. The purpose of said hearing is to
determine whether or not said Ordinance No. 3011, as amended, should be amended
so that the zoning classification of the following areas shall be changed as
hereinafter described:
~8=002 ALL that certain lot, tract, or parcel of land~in the F. G. Beasley
Survey, Abstract 134, D.R.T.C.T., and being more particularly
described by metes and bounds as follows;
BEGINNING at a point in the East right-of-way (R/W) line of the
Tarrant County Water Control and Improvement District No. 1
(T.C.W.C.I.D.), Clear Fork Trinity River, and the Northwest corner of
a 5.7 acres presently zoned "F" Commercial;
THENCE departing said 5.7 acre tract and with said East R/W of
T.C.W.C.I.D. p roperty, North 33 degrees 46 minutes East, 534.9 feet
to an angle point;
THENCE continuing with said East R/W, North 33 degrees 52 minutes
East, 344.0 feet to the North line of aforesaid Beasley Survey;
THENCE departing said T.C.W.C.I.D, property and with said survey
line, North 89 degrees 28 minutes East, 1,050.4 feet to its

tea rooms, billiards or pool halls, bowling alleys, dance
halls, shooting galleries, skating rinks and similar
commercial recreational activities, if conducted wholly
within a completely enclosed building;
lb. One dwelling unit when apart of a business;
2. Off-premise signs, subject to "S" Overlay Zoning classifica-
tion;
3. Carpet and rug cleaning;
4. Cleaning, dyeing, pressing works, laundry and washateria;

In the "PD-SU" Planned Development/Specific Use District, Tract
1, the heiyht of buildings and the minimum dimensions of yards
shall be as follows: provided, however, that buildings erected,

16. Machine shops, provided power not to exceed twenty-five
(25) horsepower is employed in the operation of any one
machine;
17. Manufacture of:
Products from aluminum, brass, bronze, copper, steel, tin or
other metals and from bone, leather, paper, rubber, shell,
wire, or wood, of any kind other than those enumerated under
Districts "J" Light Industrial or "K" Heavy Industrial,
provided power not to exceed twenty-five (25) horsepower is
employed in the operation of any one machine;

District, by adding Rehabilitation Centers and Half-Way Houses for
Alcohol, Mental Health and Criminal Rehabilitation to the uses
permitted therein if located more than 500 feet from certain
residential zones

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution, when published in the official news-
paper of the City of Fort Worth, which is a paper of general circulation, one
(1) time, shall constitute a notice of hearing, which publication shall be made
at least fifteen (15) days prior to such hearing, and all interested parties are
