A RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING TO BE HELll IN
THE CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS AT THE MUNICIPAL OFFICE BUILDING
IN THE CI'PY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS, ON MARCH 15, 1988, AT
10:00 A.M. FOR THE PURPOSE OF CONSIllERING THE FINAL REPORT
OF THE NORTH FORT WORTH AIRPORT 'CONING COMMISSION WHICH
COMPRISES A PROPOSED ORDINANCE RES`PRIC'PING AND REGULATING
THE USE OF LAND TO PKOTECT THE HEALTH AND SAFETY ANU 'IO
PROMOTE THE WELFARE OF THE GENERAL PUBLIC BY PROVIDING
CERTAIN DEVELOPMENT STANDARDS FOR LAND WITHIN THE CITY
THAT IS IN THE VICINITY OF THE NORTH FORT WORTH AIRPORT,
WHICH ORDINANCE WILL PKOVIllE FOR COMPATIBLE USES OF LAND
IN THE VICINITY OF THE AIRPORT BY CREATING AN APPROPRIATE
AIRPORT DEVELOPMENT 'LONE AND ESTABLISHING THE BOUNDARIES
THEREOF, FACILITATE PREDICTABLE GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT IN
THE VICINITY OF THE AIRPORT, PRESERVE THE LONG-TERM
INTEGRITY OF AIRPORT USAGE AND OPERATIONS, RESTKICT ANll
REGULATE AVIATION HAZARDS AND THE HEIGHT OF STRUCTURES AND
OBJECTS OF NATURAL GROWTH IN THE VICINITY OF THE AIRPORT
BY CREATING AN APPROPRIATE AIRPORT HAZARD AREA ANll ESTAB-
LISH THE BOUNDARIES THEREOF, PROVIDE FOR ADMINIS'PRATION
AND ENFORCEMENT OF AIRPORT HAZARD ANll COMPATIBLE LAND USE
REGULATIONS, PROVIUE FOR PERMITS, ESTABLISH A BOARD OF
ADJUSTMENT, PROVIllE FOR APPEALS AND VARIANCES, PKOVIllE A
SEVERABILITY CLAUSE, PROVIDE A PENALTY CLAUSE; PROVIllE FOR
PUBLICATION, AND PROVIDE AN EFFEC'PIVE DATE; AND PROVIDING
THAT SAID HEARING MAY CONTINUE FROM DAY TO DAY UNTIL EVERY
INTERESTED PAKTY ANll CITIZEN HAS HAD A FULL OPPORTUNITY TO
BE HEARD .
BE I'P RESOLVEll BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH,
TEXAS:
THAT at 10:00 o'clock A.M., Tuesday, March 15, 1988, the City
Council of the City of Fort Worth, which is the legislative body of
said City, will hold a public hearing in the Council Chambers at the
Municipal Building for the purpose of considering the final report
of the North Fort Worth Airport Zoning Commission, which recommends
tiie establishment of certain zoning regulations in the area of the
proposed North Fort Worth Airport. The purpose of the hearing is to
determine whether the final report of the North Fort Worth Airport
~oning Commission should be adopted as the North Fort Worth Airport
verlay Zoning Districts Ordinance of the City of Fort Worth, which
zoning districts shall be described as follows:

NORTH FORT WORTH HEIGHT HAZARD DISTRICT
Being a tract of land situated in the C. R. Harmon Survey,
Abstract No. 737, the R. C. Warren Survey, Abstract
No. 1687, the J. Evans Survey, Abstract No. 47U, the
M.E.P. & P. R.R. Company Survey, Abstract No. 1135, and
the G. Overton Survey, Abstract No. 1185, all in Tarrant
County, Texas, and being situated in the G. Overton.
Survey, Abstract No. 972, Denton County, Texas, also being
a portion of that certain 1404.415 acre tract of land
(Tract 1) as conveyed to H. R. Perot in Deed Volume 8222,
Page 06, County Records, Tarrant County, Texas, and being
more particularly described by metes and bounds as fol-
lows:
COMMENCING at the intersection of the westerly right-of-
way line of Interstate Highway 35W with the southerly
right-of-way line of Keller-Haslet Road (County Road
No. 404'L), the same being at 25.00 feet right of center-
. line station 117+95.70 of County Road Project No. 4042
from which a Texas Highway Department concrete monument
bears S 73°21'01" W, 0.67 feet;
THENCE N 89° 5'l' S4" W, along the southerly right-of-way
line of said Keller-Haslet Road, 2,140.00 feet to a 5/8
inch iron rod with cap stamped "Carter & Burgess" found,
25.00 feet right from centerline station 96+55.70 of
County Road Map Project No. 4042;
THENCE leaving said southerly right-of-way N 09° 5'2' 54"
W, 540.00 feet;
THENCE S 81° 50' 04" W, 13,355.99 feet to the POINT OF
BEGINNING of herein described tract;
THENCE N 09° 5'L' S4" W, 8,600.00 feet to the beginning of
a curve to the right;
THENCE along said curve 'to the right through a central
angle of 79° 26' 43", an arc length of 19,412.12 feet, a
radius of 14,OOO.OU feet and a long chord that bears N 29°

(Recommended for approval by the North Fort Worth Airport
'Coning Commission as its Final Report.)
That at this hearing, the proposed ordinance will be considered in
accordance with the provisions of the Airport 'Coning Act, Chap-
ter 241 of the Local Government Code of Texas.
.BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution, when published in the
official newspaper of the City of Fort Worth, which is a paper of
general circulation, one (1) time, shall constitute a notice of
hearing, which publication shall be made at least fifteen (15) days
prior to such hearing, and all interested parties are urgently
requested to be in the City Council Chambers at the Municipal Office
