I. CALL TO ORDER
With a quorum of the City Council Members present, Mayor Price called the regular session of
the Fort Worth City Council to order at 7:03 p.m. on Tuesday, August 28, 2018, in the City
Council Chamber of the Fort Worth City Hall, 200 Texas Street, Fort Worth, Texas.
II. INVOCATION—Pastor Clarence Heath, Carter Metropolitan CME Church
The invocation was provided by Pastor Clarence Heath, Carter Metropolitan CME Church.

On September 18 2018, at 7:00 p.m., in this Council Chamber, this Council will vote on a
proposed property tax rate of up to $0.8050 on every one hundred dollars valuation on all
property, real, personal and mixed, in the City of Fort Worth as of the first day of January, 2018.
The hearing will allow all tax proponents and opponents an opportunity to present their views.

1. M&C PZ-3169 - Adopt Ordinance Vacating a Portion of Belknap Street,
Marshall Street and Juanita Street to be Replatted with the Adjoining
Property for a New Multi-Family Development (COUNCIL DISTRICT 9)
Motion: Council Member Allen Gray made a motion, seconded by Council Member Byrd,
that Mayor and Council Communication PZ-3169 be approved and Ordinance No.
23363-08-2018 be adopted. Motion passed 8-0, Council Member Zadeh absent.

health crisis.

There being no further business, Mayor Price adjourned the Regular meeting at 9:12 p.m., in
memory of Mr. Charles Andrew Heimer, Firefighter, Fort Worth Fire Department, who passed
away on Monday, August 27, 2018.
