Kayser, City Secretary With a quorum of the City Council Members present, Mayor Price called the Fort Worth City Council Work Session to order at 4:13 p.m. on Tuesday, September 18, 2018, in City Council Conference Room 290 of the Fort Worth City Hall, 200 Texas Street, Fort Worth, Texas. 1. Report of the City Manager—David Cooke, City Manager Before City Manager David Cooke gave his report, Mayor Price took a few moments to remember Officer Garrett Hall who was killed in the line of duty on September 14, 2018. a. Changes to the City Council Agenda City Manager Cooke noted that the Council had an updated budget ordinance that would be acted on at the Council Meeting at 7:00 pm. b. Upcoming and Recent Events There were none. c. Organizational Updates and Employee Recognition(s) Library Director Manya Shorr introduced Library Assistant Director of Public Services, Michele Gorman. Neighborhood Services Director Aubrey Thagard introduced Neighborhood Services Assistant Director Sydnee Freeman. CITY OF FORT WORTH,TEXAS CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION SEPTEMBER 18,2018 Page 2 of 3 d. Informal Reports 1. IR 10183: July 2018—Sales Tax Update 2. IR 10184: Monthly Development Activity Report 2. Current Agenda Items - City Council Members M&C P-12252, P-12253 were clarified. Council asked that City Manager Cooke address the budget and the process going forward to address the pension during the Council meeting. 3. Responses to Items Continued from a Previous Week No items were continued. 4. Briefing on Approval of FY2019 Dallas Fort Worth International Airport Operating and Revenue Budget - Chris Poinsatte, Dallas Fort Worth International Airport Mr. Chris Poinsatte, representing Dallas Fort Worth International Airport, presented the FY 2019 Dallas Fort Worth International Airport Operating and Revenue Budget. There is a resolution approving the budget on the agenda for action. 5. Presentation on Proposed Conditional Use Permit - Dana Burghdoff, Planning and Development Ms. Dana Burghdoff, Planning and Development Department, presented information on a Conditional Use Permit. This is an additional zoning tool that can be used to add a specific use; can be time limited, and can be revoked. The text amendment will be presented to the Zoning Commission November 14th and Council December 4th. 6. City Council Requests for Future Agenda Items and/or Reports Council Member Bivens —Park fees and Planning and Development fees and how they are used in regards to clear cutting. Council Members Zadeh, Bivens and Jordan—Street sign maintenance and visibility. Council Member Jordan — Timing of traffic signals, mosquitoes due to the recent rains and the status of game rooms. Council Member Moon—Parking of Semi Trucks in residential areas and increasing the fee. CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION SEPTEMBER 18, 2018 Page 3 of 3 7. Executive Session (CITY COUNCIL CONFERENCE ROOM, CITY HALL, ROOM 290) There was no Executive Session. There being no further business, Mayor Price adjourned the City Council Work Session at 5:18 p.
