RESOLUTION NO. L Tq_
A RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING TO
BE HELD IN THE CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS AT THE
MUNICIPAL BUILDING IN THE CITY OF FORT WORTH,
TEXAS, ON DECEMBER 9, 1986, AT 10:00 A.M., FOR
THE PURPOSE OF CONSIDERING THE PROPOSED
CHANGES AND AMENDMENTS TO ORDINANCE NO. 3011,
AS AMENDED, WHICH IS THE COMPREHENSIVE ZONING
ORDINANCE OF SAID CITY, AND PROVIDING THAT
SAID HEARING MAY CONTINUE FROM DAY TO DAY
UNTIL EVERY INTERESTED PARTY AND CITIZEN HAS
HAD A FULL OPPORTUNITY TO BE HEARD.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH,
TEXAS:
That at 10:00 O'clock A.M., Tuesday, December 9, 1986, the City
Council of the City of Fort Worth, which is the legislative body
of said City, will hold a public hearing in the Council Chambers
at the Municipal Building for the purpose of considering changes
and amendments to Ordinance No. 3011, as amended, the Comprehen=
sive Zoning Ordinance of said City. The purpose of said hearing is
to determine whether or not said Ordinance No. 3011, as amended,
should be amended so that the zoning classification of the follow-
ing areas shall be changed as hereinafter described:

An Ordinance amending Ordinance No. 3011, as amended,
the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance of the City of Fort
Worth, codified as Appendix "A" of the Code of the City
of Fort Worth (1986), as amended, to regulate the loca-
tion of pawn shops, to be included in the "E" Commer-
cial District, requiring 500 radial feet between pawn
shops and between a pawn shop and any one or two-family
dwelling district.

Z-86-189 ZONING ORDINANCE TEXT AMENDMENT
An Ordinance amending the Comprehensive Zoning Ordi-
nance, (Appendix "A" of the Code of the City of Fort
Worth) by prohibiting the location of hotels and motels
within 500 feet of any residentially zoned property;
Providing for "PD" zoning and site plan approval for
any hotel or motel within 1,000 feet of any resident-
ially zoned property, prohibiting fencing along any
street frontage; permitting fencing on interior
property lines; and providing for other regulations.

Z-86-190 ZONING ORDINANCE TEXT AMENDMENT
An Ordinance amending the Comprehensive Zoning Ordi-
nance, (Appendix "A" of the Code of the City of Fort
Worth) by adding a new Section 18A "Sexually Oriented
Businesses"; Providing for definitions; Regulating the
location of Sexually Oriented Businesses; Providing
that no Sexually Oriented Business may locate within
1,000 feet of a church, school, park, residential lot
or another Sexually Oriented Business; Providing for
additional regulations for Sexually Oriented
Businesses.
Recommended for Approval
That the proposed amendments and changes at this hearing will be
considered in accordance with the provisions of Articles 1011a-
1011k of the Revised Civil Statutes of Texas.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution, when published in the
official newspaper of the City of Fort Worth, which is a paper of
general circulation, one (1) time, shall constitute a notice of
hearing, which publication shall be made at least fifteen (15)
days prior to such hearing, and all interested parties are
urgently requested to be in the Council Chambers at the Municipal
Building at the time hereinabove set forth to make any protest or
suggestion that may occur to them, and this hearing may continue
from day to day until every interested party and citizen has had a
full opportunity to be heard.
