WHEREAS, The City Council of the City of Fort Worth, Texas, regularly meets on Tuesday of each week; and, WHEREAS, Section 5, Chapter III, of The Charter of the City of Fort Worth, Texas, requires that the City Council shall hold no less than 48 meetings each calendar year with not less than three regular meetings held each month, and, WHEREAS, on September 10, 1985, the City Council of the City of Fort Worth, Texas, canceled the meeting of December 10, 1985, inasmuch as a majority of the members of the City Council is expected to be in attendance at the National League of Cities' Congress of Cities in Seattle, Washington, on that date; and, WHEREAS, the City Council of the City*of Fort Worth, Texas, now desires to rescind its action of September 10, 1985, canceling the City Council meeting of December 10, 1985, and reschedule the regular meeting of December 10, 1985, for another date; and, WHEREAS, a majority of the members of the City Council of the City of Fort Worth, Texas, desire to cancel the City Council meetings scheduled for December 24, 1985, and December 31, 1985: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS: f- 0 (1) That the action of the City Council of the City of Fort Worth, Texas, taken on September 10, 1985,•cancelling the City Council meeting of December 10, 1985, be rescinded; and, (2) That the City Council meeting regularly scheduled for December 10, 1985, be rescheduled for Thursday, December 12, 1985; and, (3) That the City Council meeting regularly scheduled for December 24, 1985, be canceled, in accordance with The Charter of the City Fort Worth, Texas; and, (4) That the City Council meeting regularly scheduled for December 31, 1985, be canceled, in accordance with Section 5, Chapter III, of,The Charter of the City of Fort Worth, Texas 11 W A CITY OF TORT RORTB
