FIRST RENEWAL AND AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO
INVITATION TO BID NO. 17-0120
This Amendment and Renewal is entered into by and between the City of Fort Worth
(hereafter "City"), a Texas home-rule municipal corporation, acting by and through Valerie
Washington, its duly authorized Assistant City Manager, and Greener Pastures Landscaping,
Inc. (hereafter "Vendor"), a Texas corporation, acting by and through its duly authorized
President and CEO, each individually referred to herein as a "party" and collectively referred to
as the "parties."
WHEREAS, the parties have previously agreed to the terms and conditions as set forth
in City of Fort Worth Invitation to Bid No. 17-0120 (the "Contract"), which was executed on
February 27, 2017; and
WHEREAS, the Contract and four annual renewals were approved by the Fort Worth
City Council on October 10, 2017 by M&C P-12107; and
WHEREAS, the City and Vendor now wish to evidence the parties intention to renew
the Contract for its first renewal term; and
WHEREAS, the City and Vendor now wish to amend the original Contract to revise the
scope of the services that the Vendor has agreed to provide.
NOW, THEREFORE, City and Vendor, acting herein by the through their duly
authorized representatives, enter into the following agreement to renew and amend the contract:
1. RENEWAL
Pursuant to the Contract, contract renewals are at the mutual agreement of the City and
Vendor. This Renewal and Amendment shall serve as notice that the City and Vendor agree to
renew the Contract for an additional one-year period, which will end on September 30, 2019.
2. AMENDMENT
It is the parties' intent to supplement the Scope which was included in Invitation to Bid
No. 17-0120 with the additional specifications attached hereto as Exhibit "A." In the event of
any conflict between the Scope included in Invitation to Bid No. 17-0120 and the additional
specifications, the additional specifications shall control.

It is also the parties' intent to administratively increase the unit prices by 25% due to the
services requiring additional effort to complete and to allow for a Producer Price Index, as more
fully described in Exhibit`B,"which is attached to this First Renewal and Amendment and shall
be incorporated into the Contract as if it had been originally included. The total not-to-exceed
amount of the Contract shall be $126,500 per year.
3.
All other provisions of the Contract which are not expressly amended herein shall remain
in full force and effect.

EXHIBIT A—MODIFIED SCOPE FOR GREENER PASTURES RENEWAL
FY2019
1.1 SCOPE
1.1.1 Grounds maintenance (mowing including litter/trash removal), along/adjacent
to 1-30 from Riverside to Camp Bowie and along/adjacent to 1-35 from
Jessamine to just south of Spur 280, and in compliance with TxDOT start date
of no earlier than June 1st. Estimated service months are June, September,
October and December. Up to five (5)grounds maintenance and litter/trash
removal cycles are part this scope of work and must include before and after
photos of designated work areas. June will consist of 2 work cycles.
1.1.2 Litter/trash removal along/adjacent to 1-30 from Riverside to Camp Bowie and
along/adjacent to 1-35 from Jessamine to just south of Spur 280. Estimated
service months are January,February, March,April, May, June, July,August,
September, October, November, and December. Up to twelve (12) litter/trash
removal months are part this scope of work and must include before and after
photos of designated work areas. The litter/trash removal cycle shall be
completed two (2)times per month with the grounds maintenance (mowing
and litter/trash removal)cycle counting as one of the litter/trash removal times
in months when mowing is completed. During months when grounds
maintenance (mowing and litter/trash removal)is not completed,the Contract
Administrator may request two separate litter/trash removal cycles to be
completed within one specific month in identified areas.
