WHEREAS, the City of Fort Worth (City) and One SR, L.P., Sendera
Ranch, LTD., and Two SR, L.P., (Developer) entered into Community Facility
Agreement, City Secretary Contract No. 33943, authorized by City Council on
the 5th day of September, 2006 via M&C C-21662 (CFA); and
WHEREAS, it has become necessary to execute Amendment No. 1 to
the CFA to increase participation by the City and the Developer for costs
associated with additional work not contemplated by the CFA.
NOW THEREFORE, City and Developer, acting herein by and through
their duly authorized representatives, enter into the following agreement, which
amends the CFA:

HEARING:
SUBJECT: Authorize Execution of Amendment No. 1 to City Secretary Contract No. 33943, a
Community Facilities Agreement with One SR, L.P., Sendera Ranch, LTD., and Two SR,
L.P., for the Installation of the Sendera Ranch Pump Station and Ground Storage Tank
RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the City Council authorize the City Manager to execute Amendment No. 1 to
City Secretary Contract No. 33943, a Community Facilities Agreement with One SR, L.P., Sendera
Ranch, LTD., and Two SR, L.P., for the installation of the Sendera Ranch Pump Station and Ground
Storage Tank to serve Sendera Ranch, Sendera Ranch East, and other adjacent developments
increasing City Participation by $42,975.04 to $4,530,275.04.
DISCUSSION:
On September 5, 2006, (M&C C-21662) the City Council authorized the City Manager to execute a
Community Facilities Agreement with One SR, L.P., Sendera Ranch, LTD., and Two SR, L.P. (City
Secretary Contract No. 33943), for the installation of the Sendera Ranch Pump Station and Ground
Storage Tank to serve Sendera Ranch, Sendera Ranch East, and other adjacent developments.
Community Facilities Agreement Cost participation was 46 percent for the City of Worth, 24 percent
for One SR, L.P., (Sendera Ranch) and 30 percent for Two SR, L.P., (Sendera Ranch East).

During construction, removal of additional unsuitable rock material below the ground storage tank
foundation and installation of lean concrete fill around tank piping was required. In addition,
operational staff requested a new hatch for valve vault No. 2. The Developer's contractor, Gracon
Construction, Inc., proposes to perform the extra work for$93,424. The cost of the additional work
will be divided between the City (46 percent, $42,975.04), the Developer One SR, L.P. (24 percent,
$22,421.76) and the Developer Two SR, L.P. (30 percent, $28,027.20). Additional funding for
inspection and materials testing is not required.

Staff considers this amount to be fair and reasonable and after approval of this amendment will
execute a change order between the City, the Developer, and Gracon Construction for the additional
work.
The development is located in COUNCIL DISTRICT 7.
FISCAL INFORMATION/CERTIFICATION:
The Finance Director certifies that funds are available in the current capital budget, as appropriated,
of the Water Capital Projects Fund.
