Projcf Understanding During a projecE meeting on August 9, 2006, it was agreed that making vertical adJustments to the existing curb lines along Houston Street woufd minimize the grade differences between the street and the face of the proposed Fort Worth Convention Center (FWCC) parking garage. This would result in the need for only one vertical step as opposed to two as was previously determined within the parkway section. Since this area araund ihe FWCC parking garage is o.ttside the current scope of services for this project, we were asked to provide a proposal for these services. Scop tf Services Our services incfude the analysis, recommendation and design of the new curb grades and associated pavement adjustments around the 'WCC parking garage site. f'lease note that our services do not include addifional surveying servics or pavement borings, the preparation of a Geotechnical Report, or additional/separate submittal requirements for paving improvements. A breakdown of our design services is as follows: avafuafe the existing curb grades as they rlate to the overall paving section(s) and dtermine ihe amount of adjustment(s) possible. (Preliminary estimations utilized in preparing the one vertical step alternative were previously perFrmed.) . Review available record drawings and previously performed pavement borings ta determine the existing pavement sections where paving adjustments are required.
