Authorize the Water Department to provide water service at 1.25 times the retail rate to serve Dido United Methodist Church located at 5570 Dido Hicks Road, located in Tarrant County, outside of the Fort Worth City limits; and 2. Authorize the City Manager to execute an agreement for such services. DISCUSSION: Mr. Richard P. Burgess has submitted a request to receive water services from the City of Fort Worth for the Dido United Methodist Church located at 5570 Dido Hicks Road. The legal description of the property is Tract 2B01 out of the George McCloud Survey, Abstract No. 1090, located in the extraterritorial jurisdiction of Tarrant County (see attached map). This property is located inside the Fort Worth Certificate of Convenience and Necessity (CCN). Mr. Richard P. Burgess has agreed to pay all fees and charges associated with the connection. The Dido United Methodist Church also understands that the fees and the monthly bill will be 1.25 times the rate for customers inside the City of Fort Worth until such time as the property may be annexed. This property is located adjacent to COUNCIL DISTRICT 7. FISCAL INFORMATION/CERTIFICATION: The Finance Director certifies that the Water Department will be responsible for collection of funds due to the City as a result of this agreement.
