NEW CONVENTION CENTER PARKING STRUCTURE

COUNTY OF TARRANT
WHEREAS, The City of Fort Worth and Jacobs Facilities, Inc. (Architect) made and entered into City
Secretary Contract No. 33230 (The Contract) which was authorized by the Ciry Council by M&C C-21271,
the 24th day of January, 2006; and
WHEREAS, further amendment is necessary to reimburse the Architect for additional design services
relative to vacation of 1200 block of Throckmorton Street R.O.W. (200.0' in length b�r 1.0' in width of the
east side boundary of R.O.W.) with end points from West 11'h Street to West 12' Street for the new
parking garage structure site; and
NOW THEREFORE, City and Architect, acting herein by and through their duly authorized
representatives, enter into the following agreement which amends the Contract:
1.
Article 1.1, SECTION I— SERVICES OF THE ARCHITECT, a fifth paragraph is added to read as follows:
"Provide additional design services to prepare a Right-of-Way (R.O.W.) Vacation exhibit (mini-
map) and certified legal description to submit to the Plan Commission for review and approval; in
addition, to prepare a revised plat for final submittal to the City of Fort Worth. The cost of this
additional service is $6,000.00. The scope of services is described more fully in the Jacobs letter
dated February 8, 2007, subject: City of Fort Worth, Convention Center Parking Garage, Project
No. F5W71600 which is attached hereto as Attachment "A" and made a part of this Agreement."

Paragraph 1 of SECTION V- COMPENSATION TO ARCHITECT, is amended as follows:
"The total compensation for all of the assignments to be performed by Architect as described in
CHARACTER of ARCHITECT'S SERVICES (Section III hereof) shall be $1,224,350, hereinafter
referred to as the "total fee", plus up to $30,000 in reimbursable expenses."

All other provisions of this Contract which are not expressly amended herein shall remain in full force and
effect.

Proposal for Additional Professional Services
Right-of-Way Vacation Work
Dear Alfonso:
Per your request, we are pleased to submit our proposal for providing professional services to
the City of Fort Worth for Right-of-Way Vacation. Following you will find an itemized
discussion of our understanding of the scope, project schedule, and fee requirements.
Scope of Services
Our services will include preparing a Right-Of-Way Vacation exhibit (mini-map) and certified
legal description for presentation to the Plan Commission. Once these items are reviewed, we
will make any necessary changes to the plat and prepare a final submittal to the Ciry of Fort
Worth. The final property corners will also be staked. Jacobs' sub-consultant, Lopez Garcia
Group, will be performing the majority of the work included in this proposal.
Schedule
The proposed schedule is as follows:
1. Submit mini-map and certified legal description to City of Fort Worth no later than
02/26/07.
2. Submit full size drawing with legal description to City of Fort Worth for platting no later
than 03/05/07.
Fee
We propose to provide these services for a Lump Sum Amount of $6,000.00, including all
direct costs. Please note that the proposed fee does not include City of Fort Worth platting
fees.
