WHEREAS, The City of Fort Worth and JRH Architects, Inc. (Architect) made and entered into City
Secretary Contract No. 32294 (The Contract) which was authorized by the City Council by M&C C-20904,
the 16th day of August, 2005; and
WHEREAS, further amendment is necessary to reimburse the Architect for including three Additive
Alternates for consultation area, field offices and exterior fenced area as part of the design services
agreement; and
NOW THEREFORE, City and Architect, acting herein by and through their duly authorized
representatives, enter into the following agreement which amends the Contract:
Article 1.1, SECTION I— SERVICES OF THE ARCHITECT, a fourth paragraph is added to read as
follows:
"Provide additional design services to include three Additive Alternate construction documents for
additional consultation area, field offices, and exterior fenced area. The cost of this additional
service is $12,000.00. The scope of services is described more fully in the JRH letter dated
March 9, 2007, subject: Architectural and Engineering Services Add Services No. 3 for City of
Fort Worth Expansion for Spay & Neuter Surgical Clinic — 4900 Martin Street Fort Worth Animal
Care and Control Center which is attached hereto as Attachment "A" and made a part of this
Agreement."
"Prepare presentations for and attend meetings for Arts Council of Fort Worth Community Arts
Center for Public Art related to this project ($1,000.00). Texas Department of Licensing and
Regulations fees for TAS/ADA plan review and inspection fees ($1,900.00) and reimbursable
costs ($1,000.00). The cost for this additional service is $2,900.00 plus up to $1,000.00 for
reimbursable costs. The scope of services is described more fully in the JRH letter dated
December 4, 2006 and revised June 12, 2007, subject: Architectural and Engineering Services
Add Services No. 2 for City of Fort Worth, 3,800 SF Expansion for Spay and Neuter Surgical
center-4900 Martin Street, Fort Worth Animal Care and Control Center which is attached hereto
as Attachment "B" and made a part of this Agreement."

Paragraph 1 of SECTION V- COMPENSATION TO ARCHITECT, is amended as follows:
"The total compensation for all of the assignments to be performed by Architect as described in
CHARACTER AND EXTENT of ARCHITECT'S SERVICES hereof shall be a fixed fee of
$76,870.00, hereinafter referred to as the "total fee," plus up to $4,000.00 in reimbursable
expenses."
3.
All other provisions of this Contract which are not expressly amended herein shall remain in full force and
effect.

Dear Dalton,
We present this proposal for Additional services over and beyond approved scope under the current Owner/Architect
Agreement for the above referenced project. We sincerely appreciate your consideration of these fees and additional
services by JRH Architects, Inc. and our consultants.
We submit this summary of costs for additional services for those responsibilities added or extended at the request of the
City of Fort Worth for this project. This Adtl Service No. 3 represents approval for extended design and engineering
services of an additional expansion spaces of approximately 500sf for Field Offices and another 500sf for a enlarged
Consultation space connecting the existing Lobby to the new entry.
It is requested to sign and return for our record and files for work requested and completed to date.
SCOPE OF WORK
The scope of the project is for expansion of approximately 2,800sf to the existing Animal Care and Control Center for new
offices and Spay & Neuter Surgery Center. This proposal is for two (2) adtlitional expansion areas for Field Offices and
Consultation Room connected to the new expansion in the original scope.

hourly rate, or on an individual fixed fee basis. Add Services shall be provided if authorized or confirmed in writing by the
Client, antl paid for as provided in this Agreement, in addition to the compensation for Basic Services.

Reimbursable limit exceeded which included TAS ADA Plan Review and Inspection services which are identified in the
projected increased reimbursable amount.

We have performed building code plan review or building code inspections in over 100 different jurisdictions.
We are a Certified Energy Provider and are approved by the City of Dallas and many otherjurisdictions. We are
an approved third party company for the city of Fort Worth and we enjoy a good relationship with City of Fort
Worth staff members, and work daily with them to provide our clients the best possible service. We have a
thorough understanding of Fort Worth policies, procedures and codes, which further enhances our ability to
provide exceptional quality of service.
Our recent/current projects include the $650 million Dalias Cowboys Stadium; $21.5 million FedEx Package
Disiribution Center in Hutchins; The new Parking Garage and Heart Center and Surgery Expansion and various
other projects at Harris Methodist Fort Worth; The Canyons at River Park II apartments in Fort Worth; Cooks
Lane apartments in Fort Worth; various projects for TCU totaling approximately $10 million; Highland High
School, Saginaw Elementary School, and Wayside Middle School in Saginaw with a total valuation of $47.9
million; numerous other commercial project throughout the north Texas area; and over 2000 new single family
residence projects started in 2005.
