RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the City Council:
1. Authorize the Water Department to provide water and sewer service at 1.25 times the retail rate to Mr.
Jeffrey Cox to serve his personal residence located at 10742 White Settlement Road, located in Tarrant
County, outside of the Fort Worth City limits; and
2. Authorize the City Manager to execute an agreement for such services.
DISCUSSION:
Mr. JefFrey Cox has submitted a request to receive water and sewer services from the City of Fort Worth for
his personal residence located at 10742 White Settlement Road.
The legal description of the property is Tract 1A16 out of JP Woods Survey, Abstract 1886, located in the
extraterritorial jurisdiction of Tarrant County (see attached map). This property is located inside the Fort
Worth Certificate of Convenience and Necessity (CCN).
Mr. Jeffrey Cox has agreed to pay all fees and charges associated with the connection. The applicant also
understands that the fees and the monthly bill will be 1.25 times the rate for customers inside the City of
Fort Worth until such time as the property may be annexed.
This property is located adjacent to COUNCIL DISTRICT 7.
FISCAL INFORMATION/CERTIFICATION:
The Finance Director certifies that the Water Department will be responsible for collection of funds due to
the City as a result of this agreement.
