AMENDMENT N0.3 TO AGREEMENT
FOR ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN SERVICES
NEW CONVENTION CENTER PARKING STRUCTURE
STATE OF TEXAS

COUNTY OF TARRANT
WHEREAS, The City of Fort Worth and Jacobs Facilities, Inc. (Architect) made and entered into City
Secretary Contract No. 33230 (The Contract) which was authorized by the City Council by M&C C-21271,
the 24th day of January, 2006; and
WHEREAS, further amendment is necessary to reimburse the Architect for additional design services
relative to the following: 1) vacation of 200 block of West 11"' Street R.O.W. (201.0' in length by 1.0' in
width of the north side boundary of R.O.W.) with end points from Houston Street to Throckmorton Street,
2) vacation of 200 block of West 12'h Street R.O.W. (201.0' in length by 9.5' in width of the south side
boundary of R.O.W.) with end points from Houston Street to Throckmorton Street for the new parking
garage structure site, 3) dedication of both vacations to pedestrian easements; and
NOW THEREFORE, City and Architect, acting herein by and through their duly authorized
representatives, enter into the following agreement which amends the Contract:
1.
Article 1.1, SECTION I— SERVICES OF THE ARCHITECT, a seventh paragraph is added to read as
follows:
"Provide additional design services to prepare a Right-of-Way (R.O.W.) Vacation exhibit (mini-
map) and certified legal description to submit to the Plan Commission for review and approval; in
addition, to prepare a revised plat for final submittal to the City of Fort Worth. The cost of this
additional service is $8,000.00. The scope of services is described more fully in the Jacobs letter
dated April 16, 2007, subject: City of Fort Worth, Convention Center Parking Garage, Project No.
F5W71600 which is attached hereto as Attachment "A" and made a part of this Agreement."

Paragraph 1 of SECTION V- COMPENSATION TO ARCHITECT, is amended as follows:
"The total compensation for all of the assignments to be performed by Architect as described in
CHARACTER of ARCHITECT'S SERVICES (Section III hereo� shall be $1,232,350, hereinafter
referred to as the "total fee", plus up to $30,000 in reimbursable expenses."

All other provisions of this Contract which are not expressly amended herein shall remain in full force and
effect.

Proposal for Additional Professional Services
Additional Right-of-Way Vacation Services
Dear Alfonso:
Per your request, we are pleased to submit our proposal for providing professional services to
the City of Fort Worth for Additional Right-of-Way Vacation Services. Following you will find an
itemized discussion of our understanding of the scope, project schedule, and fee
requirements.
Scope of Services
Our services will include:
1. Preparation of two right-of-way vacations, one being a 1' x 201' strip along W. 91 th Street
and the other being 9.5' x 201' strip along W. 12'h Street.
2. Preparation of the two dedication documents for pedestrian easements along both vacated
areas, as described in Item 1.
3. Preparation of a revised plat showing new right-of-way lines along W. 11'h Street and W.
12th Street. Provide copies of the revised plat for submittal to the City of Fort Worth.
4. Incorporation of review comments and preparation of final submittal to the Ciry of Fort
wortn.
5. Staking the final property corners in the field.
Jacobs' subconsultanf, Lopez Garcia Group, will be performing the majoriry of the work
included in this proposal. In addition, due to their previous involvement with the platting and
surveying services of the above mentioned area, it is anticipated that Gorrondona &
Associates' services will be utilized to accomplish the surveying tasks.
Schedule
We propose to submit final Right-of-Way Vacation documents to the City of Fort Worth no later
than April 23, 2007. - -�,- -

Fee
We propose to provide these services for a Lump Sum Fee of $8,000.00, including all direct
costs. Please note that the proposed fee does not include City of Fort Worth platting fees or
any other fees that may be required.
We look forward to working with The City on these additional professional services. If we can
provide you with any additional information or if you have any questions, please do not hesitate
