FIRST AMENDMENT TO
FORT WORTH CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT NO. 51493
This First Amendment to Fort Worth City Secretary Contract No. 51493 ("Fust
Amendment") is made between the City of Fort Worth ("FORT WORTH"), a municipal
corporation,acting herein by and through Susan Alanis,its duly authorized Assistant City Manager
and Performance Architects, Inc., a Massachusetts S corporation ("Consultant") acting herein
through Elizabeth Kirby Lunger, its duly authorized Chief Sales and Marketing Officer.
WHEREAS,FORT WORTH and Consultant entered into an Agreement identified as Fort
Worth City Secretary Contract No. 51493 beginning November 2,2018 (the"Agreement');and
WHEREAS, FORT WORTH wishes to subscribe to additional professional services of
Consultant; and
WHEREAS, it is the collective desire of both FORT WORTH and Consultant to amend
the Agreement to include Hyperion Planning Enhancements.
NOW THEREFORE, KNOWN ALL BY THESE PRESENT, FORT WORTH and
Consultant, acting herein by the through their duly authorized representatives,enter into this First
Amendment, which amends the Agreement as follows:
1.
The Agreement is hereby amended by adding Exhibit F,Hyperion Planning
Enhancements, Statement of Work, attached to this First Amendment as Exhibit F of the
Agreement.
2.
The total amount of the contract is increased by$54,000.00 to $99,900.00.
3.
All other terms, provisions, conditions, covenants and recitals of the Agreement not
expressly amended herein shall remain in full force and effect.

This Statement of Work(this"SOW"or"Agreement")is made as of October 10,2018,
("Effective Date',by and between Performance Architects,Inc.,a Massachusetts corporation,
with an address of 470 Atlantic Avenue,421 Floor,Boston,MA 02210("Performance Architects",
"we"or"us' ,and City of Fort Worth with an address at 1000 Throckmorton Street,Fort Worth,
TX 76102("Client'.
For valuable consideration,the receipt and sufficiency of which are hereby acknowledged,the
parties agree as follows.
PROJECT •
The following section outlines the services to be performed by Performance Architects on behalf
of Client. This Statement of Work(SOW)shall be governed by the Services Agreement(MSA)
executed by the parties on November 2nd 2018.City Secretary Contract#51493
PROJECT DESCRIPTION AND SCOPE
The City of Fort Worth has recently completed a review and assessment of the Hyperion
Planning and Budgeting system. Based on the outcome and recommendations from the
assessment,The City of Fort Worth would like Performance Architects'assistance in correcting
a list of technical issues in the system as well as implementing several application
enhancements prior to the start of the next budget cycle.
PROJECT
The following contains the objectives and scope associated with the technical issues:
Technical Items
• Investigate system stability issues and recommend performance improvement suggestions
as it relates to both the server and Hyperion-speck components
■ Refresh the OA and Dev environments from PROD environment and document the
procedure
■ Add nightly processing and increase monitoring components by implementing backups of
Hyperion components as well as identifying system tasks and log files to monitor
• Re-configure and implement SSL in the OA and PROD environment
• Troubleshoot and resolve Reporting&Analysis no longer being expandable within Excel
SmartVew
• Troubleshoot and resolve web components not able to be exported into SmartView and
native Excel,including Financial Reports and forms
■ Provide certified client configurations options for SmartView installation

• Troubleshoot and resolve Financial Reporting Web Studio no longer accessible(Note:only
the desktop client is operationaD
• Investigate hung reports that seem to become stuck at intermittent times and must be
manually"killed"through Essbase
The following contains the objectives and scope associated with application issues:
Application Enhancement ftems
• Add an integration to move Approved Positions(FTE and/or Headcount)to Lineltem and/or
SalRpt to be able to report at an allocated level
• Add an integration to move data between HCP and SalRpt,including the conversion of the
Job Code SmartUst on the HCP side to the Job Code dimension on the Sa1Rpt side
• Modify Job Code to be its own dimension instead of an attribute of Position as it currently
resides
• Demonstrate the use of ruleset functionality in Hyperion Planning.
PROJECTti FEES
Performance Architects assumes that the project will commence on January r 2019 for
duration of 6 weeks. We expect to staff roles with the follovAnq allocation of effort(in hours). This
staffing roster cannot be guaranteed until Performance Architects receives a signed S0W from
client.

Assuming a team comprised approximately of 1.5 FTE,Performance Architects assumes that
project activities will require approximately 6 weeks of effort for fees of$50,000
All out-of-pocket expenses(e.g.travel,mileage,lodging,etc.)incurred by Performance
Architects in connection with the Project will be invoiced net to Cfient. We estimate T&E will be
approximately 8%of the project cost.
Note: Total project cost(including expenses)shall not exceed$54K without prior written
approval and consent from the client.

,-ASSUMPTIONS
While preparing this proposal,certain assumptions were made relating to the unique
characteristics of this project.Identifying and carefully managing these assumptions will assist
Client and Performance Architects in co-managing the project to a successful completion.
• All technical items will be corrected as available;software and hardware limitations may
result in unexpected issues
• Performance Architects resources will have access to all three Hyperion environments
(Production,QA,and Development),including server access
• Performance Architects will be responsible for initial unit testing,and City of Fort Worth will
be responsible for data validation
• City of Fort Worth will be responsible for validating the environments once the
synchronization process has completed
• When needed, Performance Architects will work on location Monday through Thursday,and
at Performance Architects offices on Friday. As appropriate, Performance Architects will
also have the opportunity to work off-site at a Performance Architects office location
• While on-site at the City of Fort Worth,Performance Architects will have the necessary
access to work space with network connectivity, Internet connectivity and access to a
printer and to a phone for each resource at the commencement of the project and
throughout the duration of the project
The payment and invoicing terms are based on standard Performance Architects financial
policies asset forth below.
ACTUAL HOURS WORKED
All estimates of fees or time required to complete the Project are provided for convenience only
and are approximations of the anticipated amount of time needed to complete the Project.
Client will be invoiced based on the amount of time actually required to complete the Project.
Billable hours are applicable only to actual hours expended. Billing is not applicable for absence
due to holidays,illness,emergency leave,or vacation time. Performance Architects will use
commercially practical efforts to minimize absences over which it may have control.
INVOICING
All work will be invoiced on time and materiels,hourly basis. Performance Architects will submit
an invoice monthly to Client for all fees and direct expenses incurred hereunder. Client will pay

all undisputed invoices on a net-30-day basis.Current industry standard interest rates will be
assessed on amounts greater than 30 days past due.
All out-of-pocket expenses(e.g.travel,mileage,lodging,etc.)incurred by Performance
Architects in connection with the Project will be invoiced net to Client.All such expenses will be
itemized when billed. Performance Architects will use commercially practical efforts to minimize
those expenses over which it has control.
SIGNATURES AND APPROVAL
The undersigned parties do hereby agree and warrant that on the date that this document has
been signed are duly authorized to act on behalf of their respective organizations and are duly
able to take all appropriate action to execute this SOW. This SOW is valid for a period of 30
days following delivery to Client.
