OF THIS ORDINANCE WITH THE COUNTY CLERK OF TARRANT COUNTY, TEXAS; DECLAR-
ING THAT THIS ORDINANCE AND ALL SUBSEQiJENT PROCEEDINGS RELATING TO SAID
STREET IMPROVEMENT ARE AND SHALL BE PU&SUANT TO THE ACT OF THE FIRST CALLED
SESSION OF THE FORTIETH LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS, CHAPTER 106;
COMMONLY KNOWN AS ARTICLE 1105b OF VERNON'S TEXAS CIVIL STATUTES AS AMENDED
BY ACTS 1967, 60TH LEGISLATURE, PAGE 365, CHAPTER 176, SECTION l, EMERGENCY
EFFECTIVE MAY 12, 1967; AND DIRECTING THE CITY SECRETARY TO ENGROSS AND EN-
ROLL THIS ORDINANCE BY CO�YING THE CAPTION OF SAME IN THE MINUTE BOOKS OF
THE CITY COUNCIL AND BY FILING THE COMPLETE ORDINANCE IN THE APPROPRIATE
ORDINANCE RECORDS OF THIS CITY AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Public Works Director for 'the City of Fort Worth, Texas, has prepared
Plans and Specifications for the impYovements of the hereinafter described portions
of streets, avenues and public places in the City of Fo-rt Worth, Texas, and same
having been examined by the City Council of the City of Fort Worth, Texas, and found
to be in all matte�s and things proper, NOW THEREFORE:
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIZ OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS, THAT:

The hereinafter descr�bed Plans and Specifications are hereby approved dnd
adopted.

There exists a public necessity for the improvement of the hereinafter
desc�ibed portions of st�eets, avenues and public places in the City of
Fort Worth, Texas, to-wit:
UNIT 1: WEISENBERGER STREET From Carroll Street to Vacek Street,
known and designated as Unit 1,
Project No. 104-24000-211.
UNIT 2: FOCH STREET From Whitmore Street to White
Settlement Road tcnown and designated as
Unit 2, Project No. 104-24000-211.
Each of the above described portions of streets, avenue� and publi�
places in the City of Fort Worth, Texas9 shall be improved by raising,
grading, and filling same and by con��ructing thereon the followir.g, to-wito
UNIT l: WEISENBERGER 3TREET

UNIT 3: LIT�LEPAGE STREET
UNIT 4: SLOCUM �VENUE
From Ca�roll St�eet to Vacek Street,
known and designated as Unit l, Project No.
104-24000-2�1, to be improved with six-
inch thick reinforced concrete pavement
on a six-inch thick lirne stabilized
subgrade with sev�n-inch high concrete
curb and eighteen-inch wide concrete
gutter, so that the finished roadway
will be thirty feet wide and by con-
sgructing six-inch thick driveways
where specified.
From Whigmore Street to White Settle-
men.t T{oad, known and designated as
Unit 2, Project No. 104-24000-211, to
be improved with six-inch thick re-
inforced concrete pavement on a six-
inch �hick cemen� stabilized subgxade
with seven-inch high concrete curb and
eighteen-inch wide concrete guttex, so
that the finished roadway wi.11 thi�rty�
six feet wide and by constructing six-
inch thick concrete driveways where
specified.
From Blackmore A'venue to Libbey AVenue,
known and designa�ed as t7nit 3, Project
No. 104-24000-211, to be improved with
six-inch thick hot-mix asphal�ic con-
crete pavement on a six-inch thick lime
stabilized subgrade with seven-inch high
concrete curb and eighteen-inch w3.de
eancrete gutter, so that the finished
roadway wi11 be tharty feet w�ide and by
constructing four-foot wide concrete
sidewalks and six-inch thictc concrete
driveways where specified.
From Joyce Drive to Highway 183, known
and designated as Unit 4�, Project No.
104-24000-211, ta be improved wieh a
six-inch thick hot-mix asphaltic concrete
pavement on a six-inch thick ].ime stabil-
ized subgrade with seven-inch high conP
crete curb and eighteen-inch wide conereee
gutter, so that the finished roadway will
be forty feet wide.
The �bove, to�ether with concrete curb�, gutters, driveways and incident�l�
to such improvements, on proper grade �nd line where s�me are not �lready
�o constructed, together with �to �n sewer� and drains and ather necessary
incidentals and appurtenance�; all of said improvements to be constructed
�� �nd where �hown on the Pl�n� �nd Specific�tion§ therefor.
IV.
The cost of s�id improvements as herein defined shall be paid for as
follows, to-wit:
A, The prop�rty abutting on th�t p�rtion of the str�e�, avenue �r public
pl�ce �nd the re�l and true oc�ners thereof eh�1T pay all of the cost of. curbs and
�utter� in £ront of. their property �nd not e�c�eding nine-tenth� (9/lOths) of r.he
e�tim�ted co�t of the rem�inder of auch improv�rnents.
�. The City of Fart Worth �h�ll p�y �li of the remainder of the cost of.
��id impravements �fter deducting th� �maunt� herein �pecified to'be paid by the
abuttin� propertie� �nd the real �nd true awners thereof. �� set out in subsection A,
The �mount� pay�ble by the �butting properties and th� real and true owners
thereof ah�ll be �sse�sed ��ainst �uch prapertie� �nd th� real and true owner� there-
of �nd �h�ll canstitute � fir�t �nd prior lien upon such properties and a per�onal
li�bility �f the re�l �nd true o�ner� there of and shall be payable to-wit:

unit� �h�ll be and beeome p�yable in five (5) equ�1 in�t�llments, due re�pectively
on or befor� thirty (30) days, and one (1), two (2), three (3), �nd four (4) ye�r�

mately $38,000. Funds are available from Design Engineering in the amount

fied Funds is proposed to provide for the remaining portion of the City`s
cost of the project, including engineering expenses, inspection, and miscel-
