Kayser, City Secretary With a quorum of the City Council Members present, Mayor Pro tem Shingleton called the Fort Worth City Council Work Session to order at 3:01 p.m. on Tuesday, January 15, 2019, in City Council Conference Room 290 of the Fort Worth City Hall, 200 Texas Street, Fort Worth, Texas. 1. Report of the City Manager—David Cooke, City Manager a. Changes to the City Council Agenda There were no changes to the City Council Agenda. b. Upcoming and Recent Events There will be no City Council meeting on January 22, 2019. c. Overview of Significant Zoning Cases — Dana Burjjhdoff, Planninj4 and Development Department Ms. Dana Burghdoff, Planning and Development Department, provided an overview of significant zoning cases. 5. Briefing on the Neil4hborhood & Community Park Dedication Policy Update - Richard Zavala, Park and Recreation Department r. Richard Zavala, Park and Recreation Department, provided an update on the Neighborhood and Community Park Dedication Policy. Staff provided recommendations for policy updates outside the loop and for the central city. The policy will be brought for Council consideration at the January 29, 2019, Council meeting. Presentation on 2017 Incentive Review Findings and Policy Recommendations for Tax Abatement and Economic Development Program Agreements - Robert Sturns, Economic Development Department Mr. Robert Sturns, Economic Development Department, presented the results of the incentive agreement review for Tax Year 2017. Mr. Sturns provided policy recommendations to maximize participation and competitiveness. The updated policies will be presented to Council for consideration at the January 29, 2019, Council Meeting. 7. City Council Requests for Future Agenda Items and/or Reports Council Member Bivens—how projects from previous bond issues can be changed. Council Member Flores—update on Animal Care and Control. 8. Executive Session (CITY COUNCIL CONFERENCE ROOM, CITY HALL, ROOM 290) Mayor Pro tem Shingleton adjourned the City Council Work Session at 5:33 p. in.
