FIRST AMENDMENT TO CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT NO.51889 BETWEEN AMON
CARTER MUSEUM OF WESTERN ART AND THE CITY OF FORT WORTH
THIS FIRST AMENDMENT TO SUPPLEMENTAL PROGRAMMING AGREEMENT
("First Amendment") is made and entered into by and between the CITY OF FORT WORTH("City"),
a home-rule municipal corporation of the State of Texas, acting by and through its duly authorized
representative, and AMON CARTER MUSEUM OF WESTERN ART, a domestic nonprofit
corporation,acting by and through its duly authorized representative("Provider").
WHEREAS, City and Provider are parties to an agreement, City Secretary Contract No.
51889, that permits Provider to provide certain classes, workshops, seminars, or activities at various
community centers owned and operated by the City("Agreement");
WHEREAS, the parties desire to revise the Center(s) at which Provider's programs will be
provided;and
WHEREAS,the parties desire to amend the Agreement to revise sections related to programming
and meeting times.
NOW,THEREFORE,in consideration of the mutual covenants and agreements contained herein,
the City and the Provider do mutually covenant and agree to amend the Agreement as follows:
I.
Exhibit A of the Agreement,which details the Program,Center(s),and Schedule is hereby replaced
with the exhibit attached to this First Amendment as Exhibit A. The attached Exhibit A is hereby
incorporated into the Agreement for all purposes and supersedes any prior Exhibit A. All references to
Exhibit A in the Agreement shall refer to the attached Exhibit A.
II.
All terms and conditions of the Agreement that are not expressly amended pursuant to this
First Amendment shall remain in full force and effect.
III.
All terms in this First Amendment that are capitalized but not defined shall have the
meanings assigned to them in the Agreement.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF,the parties hereto have executed this First Amendment in multiples in
Fort Worth,Tarrant County,Texas,this 91h day of April ,2019.

SCOPE OF SERVICES
PROGRAM: Let's Talk with Amon Carter: Stories of Fort Worth
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: Over four consecutive weeks, participants will have the opportunity to
interact with three local artists to consider the ways artists use art-making to tell a story. Participants will
engage in dialogue around works of art in the Amon Carter collection, learn art-making techniques, and
create a work of art that tells its own story. Each participant will contribute one work of art to be reproduced
in a zine, highlighting stories of children throughout the city of Fort Worth. Each participant and each
Community Center will receive a copy of the zine in late August or early September.
