COUNTY OF TARRANT
WHEREAS, The City of Fort Worth and RPGA Design Group Inc., (Consultant) made
and entered into City Secretary Contract No. 50692 (The Contract) which was
authorized by the City Council by M&C C-28651, the 3rd day of April, 2018, for Fire
Station 43 + Utility Extensions, Linkmeadow Drive & Interstate Highway 30 / Fort Worth,
Texas; and
WHEREAS, further amendment is necessary to reimburse the Consultant as part of the
design services agreement for additional design services for FS #43 — Additional
topographic survey services.
NOW THEREFORE, City and Consultant, acting herein by and through their duly
authorized representatives, enter into the following agreement which amends the
Contract:
1.
Article I —Scope of Services, Paragraph (3) shall be added to read as follows:
(3) Provide additional survey services for the design and detailing of Stormwater -
management. The cost of this additional service is $4,730.00 plus $0.00 in
reimbursable expenses. The scope of services is described more fully in RPGA
Design Group, Inc. Letter dated February 21, 2019, subject: "FS #43 —
Additional Surveying as required for further Storm Water analysis".
2.
Article II —Compensation, first paragraph, is amended as follows:
"Consultant shall be compensated in accordance with the Fee Schedule shown
in Attachment "A". Payment shall be considered full compensation for all labor,
materials, supplies, and equipment necessary to complete the services
described in Attachment "A". However the total fee paid by the City shall not
exceed a total of $347,100.00 unless the City and the Consultant mutually agree
upon a fee amount for additional services and amend this Agreement
accordingly."

All other provisions of this Contract which are not expressly amended herein shall
remain in full force and effect.

RE: FS#43—Additional Surveying as required for further Storm Water analysis
Mr. Clements:
In order that we might reach a clear understanding, please accept this as our proposal for additional
surveying services as required to provide additional Storm Water analysis. This information is
required to determine if the existing bar ditch along located on the east side of Linkmedow Drive
has additional capacity. We submit the following for your consideration and approval.
1) General: RPGA Design Group, Inc., as summarized below, will work with Pacheco Koch
to provide the following:
TOPOGRAPHIC SURVEY OF AREA DELINEATED IN EXHIBITS A AND B:Pacheco Koch will
perform an on the ground survey of the property under the direct supervision of a Registered
Professional Land Surveyor. Included in this item:
• One cross section at north face of each driveway or cross street on the east side of and
adjacent to Linkmeadow Drive.
• Location of permanent improvements on Devonaire Drive.
• Spot elevations at Crown of Road;West Top of bar ditch; Flowline of ditch, East Top of bar
ditch, Natural ground 15-feet east of ditch toward residence
• Flowline and size of north&south end of driveway culvert

Architectural Coordination and Processing................................................................... $ 430,00
TOTAL $4,730.00

Dear Mr.Lucio:
As you are aware, Pacheco Koch Consulting Engineers, Inc. has been requested to provide
services on the referenced site that we believe are outside the Scope of Work of our revised
proposal dated November 20,2017,and subsequent additional services proposals as applicable.
These services are as follows:

Map (FIRM), published by Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), for this
area.
■ Contours on one foot intervals.
■ Tree location,size and species;identification of heavily wooded areas.
■ Boundary surveying.
• Subsurface utility engineering services.
■ Location of irrigation control valves.
■ Location of permanent improvements on Devonaire Drive.
■ Spot elevations on a 50-foot grid.

We propose that the total fee of our current contract be increased by a lump sum amount of
$4,300.00 to cover personnel expenses involved in these changes. Terms and conditions shall be
the same as per our original agreement.
