RE: City of Fort Worth Project No. F5W71600
Convention Center Parking Garage
Proposal for Additional Art-Related Design Services
Dear Glenn:
Per your request,we are pleased to submit our proposal for providing additional professional services to the
City of Fort Worth for the Convention Center Parking Garage project. Following you will find an itemized
discussion of our understanding of the project history, scope, schedule, and fee requirements.
PROJECT HISTORY
As you may be aware, our original fee proposal for this project did not include coordination with a public
artist. It was not until after our fee was finalized with the City that we were asked to collaborate with an
artist. At that time we agreed to assist the City and work collaboratively with the Artist at no additional
cost.
During the design phases we have spent a great deal of additional time working together with and
responding to the Artist. Now that our drawings are complete, the Artist continues to make revisions that
require design modifications from Jacobs. At this time we would like to request additional compensation
for our services related to coordinating with the public Artist. As such, following is our proposal for
additional services for this task.
SCOPE OF SERVICES
Our services will include coordination with PhenomenArts Inc., (PAI),and incorporation of art-related
infra-structure into Jacobs'drawings and specifications. The following drawings produced by PAI will be
used to incorporate the art-related items into Jacobs'existing Construction Documents:
• Electrical Room—sheet 1, dated 4/2/07
• Northwest Comer Lighting—sheet 2, dated 4/2/07
• Southwest Comer Lighting—sheet 3,dated 4/2/07
• Southeast Marquee Lighting—sheet 4, dated 4/2/07
• Elevator Lighting—sheet 5,dated 4/2/07
