WHEREAS, the City of Fort Worth ("City") and Teal Engineering Services,lnc.
("Engineer') made and entered into City Secretary Contract No. 33067 (the "Contract") which was
administratively executed on January 11, 2006;
WHEREAS, the Contract involves engineering services for the following project:
ITS CONSULTING SERVICES 2006
WHEREAS, it has become necessary to execute Amendment No. 1 to said Contract to
increase the scope of services and/or the maximum fee.
NOW THEREFORE, City and Engineer, acting herein by and through their duly authorized
representatives, enter into the following agreement that amends the Contract:
1.
Article I, of the Contract is amended to include the additional engineering services
specified in Attachment A-1 hereto. The cost to City for the additional services to be performed by
Engineer total $9,500. '� ������
2.
Article II of the Contract is amended to provide for an increase in the maximum fee to be

paid to Engineer for all work and services performed under the Contract, as amended, so that the
total fee paid by the City for all work and services shall not exceed the sum of$ 24,500 .
3.
All other provisions of the Contract which are not expressly amended herein shall remain in
full force and effect.

SCOPE OF SERVICES
Task A.1.0: D elop Communication Network Alternatives
Description: Tl�e Consultant will develop communication network alternatives for the
City's Traffic Management System. The effort will provide alternative communication
technologies and architectures to the Charter Cable network currently used by the TMS.
The communication alternatives will be documented in a technical memorandum.
Task A.2.0: Conduct Communication Equipment Testing
Description: The Consultant will develop and conduct testing of various
communication technologies and equipment to assess the ability to meet the City's TMS
communication requirements. The testing will include, but not be limited to the VPN,
secure terminal servers, and other equipment as required. This task includes the purchase
of test equipment up to the budget of this task.
