BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS: SECTION 1. THAT a 10 foot by 309.92 foot portion of a north/south utility easement located in Lots 30 and 31 , Block 56, Candleridge Addition, Phase VIII, as shown on plat recorded in Volume 388-174, Page 51 , Deed Records, Tarrant County, Texas, said portion of said easement being more particularly described in Exhibit "A", attached hereto and incorporated herein, be and the same is vacated, abandoned, and permanently closed and extinguished as a public utility easement. SECTION 2. That the fee to the land in the above described vacated public utility easement is hereby released and shall revert to the adjacent owner as provided by law. SECTION 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. SECTION 4. That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect from and after the date of its passage, and it is so or- dained. The subject utility easement, acquired by dedication, is platted but contains no utility facilities. The subject vacation request is made in order to utilize the vacated easement as part of the subject property, thus expanding the building area and providing more usable yard space. The necessary and appropriate monetary consideration has been placed in escrow with the Real Property department of the City. Reviewing City departments and private utility companies have raised no objections to this request. A satisfactory replat has been submitted. Recommendation It is recommended that the City Council adopt an ordinance vacating the 10' x 309.92' portion of a north/south utility easement located on Lots 30 & 31, Block 56, Candleridge Addition, Phase VIII.
