HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance 3774 ORDINANCE NO. 377k AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE APPROPRIATION OF ONE THOUSAND, TWO HUNDRED EIGHTY-SIX AND 25/100 DOLLARS ($1,286.25) FOR THE PURPOSE OF PAYING THE FIRST SEMI-ANNUAL INSTALLMENT OF INTEREST ON SEVENTY-FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS ($75,000.00) WORTH OF MARINE CREEK CHANNEL, DRAINAGE AND OVERFLOW IMPROVEMENT BONDS, SERIES 72, AUTHORIZED TO BE ISSUED BY ORDINANCE NO. 3.773, PASSED AND ADOPTED ON FRIDAY, THE 28TH DAY OF FEBRUARY, A. D. 1958. BE .IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That the sum of One Thousand, Two Hundred Eighty-six and 25/100 Dollars ($1,266.25) be appropriated out of the unappropriated balance in the General Fund of the City of Fort Worth to pay the first semi-annual installment of interest to be due and payable on the first day of Septem- ber, A. D. 1958, on negotiable coupon bonds of the City of Fort Worth, Texas, authorized to be issued by the City Council of said City by Ordi- nance No. 3'�73, on Friday, the 28th day of February, A. D. 1958, in the principal sum of Seventy-five Thousand Dollars ($75,000.00) and being designated as "Marine Creek Channel, Drainage and Overflow Improvement Bonds," Series 72, SECTION 2. That the appropriation herein made shall be transferred and placed in a separate fund and shall be devoted to the payment of the interest on said bonds when said interest becomes due and payable, and shall not be used, applied or diverted to any other purpose or object whatsoever. SECTION 3- That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of its passage, and it is so ordained.
