ORDINANCE NO. AN ORDINANCE EXTENDING THE BOUNDARY LIMITS AND ANNEXING CERTAIN TERRITORY LYING ADJACENT TO THE CITY OF FORT WORTH: PROVIDING THAT THE ORDINANCE BE ADVERTISED IN A DAILY NEWSPAPER PUBLISHED IN SAID CITY IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF SECTION 40, CHAPTER XXVIII OF THE CITY CHARTER: AND PRESCRIBING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS: Section 1. That the hereinafter described territory lying adjacent to the City of Fort Worth is hereby annexed and brought within the corporate limits and made an integral part of said City of Fort Worth, said territory being situated in Tarrant County, Texas, and being described by metes and bounds as follows: BEGINNING at a point in the present City of Fort Worth city limit line, said point being in the north line of the Dallas-Fort Worth Toll Road and the west line of the Ederville Road (County Road No. 2054); THENCE south along the west line of the Ederville Road and along the present City of Fort Worth city limits to a point in the south line of White Lake East Road (County Road No. 2059); THENCE west along the south line of White Lake East Road (County Road No. 2059) and along the present City of Fort Worth city limit line to a point in the east line of Cravens Road (County Road No. 2047); THENCE south along the east line of Cravens Road and along the present City of Fort Worth city limits to a point, said point being where the north line of Meadow- brook Hills Addition extended east would intersect the east line of Cravens Road; THENCE west along the extension of the north line of Meadowbrook Hills Addition, and along the north line of said addition, and along the present City of Fort Worth city limit line, approximately 1500 feet to the southeast corner of Lot 13, Block D, Eastern Hills Addi- tion, being also in the south line of the Wm. J. Baker Survey; THENCE north 1 degree 15 minutes east 754.3 feet; THENCE north 87 degrees 46 minutes west along the present City of Fort Worth city limits 221.9 feet to a point in the center line of Weiler Boulevard; THENCE with the centerline of Weiler Boulevard, and along the present City of Fort Worth city limits, north 47 degrees 0 minutes west 13 feet and north 34 degrees 30 minutes west 290.6 feet; THENCE south 53 degrees 20 minutes along the present City of Fort Worth city limits west 50 feet; THENCE in a northwesterly direction along the pre- sent City of Fort Worth city limits to a point in the westerly line of Wilson Road, said point being parallel to and 200 feet south of Ederville Road (County Road No. 2059); THENCE in a westerly direction along the present City of Fort Worth city limits parallel to and 200 feet south of Ederville Road (County Road No. 2059) to a point in the west line of the J. H. Cole Survey and the east line of the Wm. Edwards Survey; THENCE north along the present City of Fort Worth city limits and along the west line of the J. H. Cole and the east line of the Wm. Edwards Survey to the north right of way line of the Dallas Fort Worth Toll Road; THENCE east along the northerly right of way line of the Dallas-Fort Worth Toll Road to a point in the west line of the Ederville Road (County Road No. 2054), said point being the place of beginning and containing approxi- mately 320 acres of land. Section 2. That this ordinance shall be published one time in The Fort Worth Press, a daily newspaper published in the City of Fort Worth, in accordance with the provisions of Section 40, Chapter XMII of the City Charter. Section 3. That this ordinance shall be and become effective and be in full force and effect upon its final passage, which in no event shall be less than thirty (30) days from the date of its publication, as aforesaid, and it is so ordained. Bateman Re: Annexation Ordinance City Secretary No. 3874 Building Dear Sir: We have had requests from residents in the Western Hills Area for the second reading on Annexation Ordinance No. 3874 which includes approximately 300 acres south of the north right-of- way of the Dallas - Fort Worth Turnpike north of the Eastern Hills Addition.
