HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance 275 WOW Ordinance No An ordinance amending ordinance No. 172, passed by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Fort Worth June 28th, 1910, and recorded in Ordinance book E, page 617 of said city, said ordinance annexing certain territory formerly a portion of Rosen Heights to said City of Fort North, and correcting the field notes containid BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF CO MISSIONEF.S OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS Section 1. That the field notes and description by metes and bounds of certain territory adjacent and contiguous to the city of Fort Worth, and described in ordinance no. 172, passed by the Board of Commissioners of said city June 28th, 1910 and recorded in Ordinance book E. page 617 of said city be amended so as to read as follows: "BegiAning where a line drawn paralell with and 1320 feet southeast from the middle line of Dodge avenue in the second filing of Rosen Heights addition, would intersect the west line of the present city limits along the west line of the F. Moore survey in Midway avenue, thence southwest paralell with said Dodge avenue 296 feet, thence northwest paralell with 22 nd street 1320 feet to an intersection with the middle line of Dodge avenue if the same were extended southwest, thence northeast along what would be the middle line of Dodge avenue if same were extended southwest, 720 feet, thence northwest along what would be the middle line of 23rd street if same were projected northwest, 660 feet, thence northeast along what-would be the middle line of Ephriham avenue if same were proj'edta'd B0uthW8st to and along said middle line to the middle of 26th street, thence northwesterly with the middle line of 26th street to an intersection with the middle line of Broadway avenue, thence northeasterly with the middle line of Broadway avenue to an intersection with the middle line of 30th street, thence southeasterly along the middle line of 30th street to an intersection to the city limits line of said city extending �r page 2. along Midway avenue, thence southerly with said city limits line to the place of beginning." Section 2. Said ordinance No. 172, as herein amended and correct- ed, is to remain in full force and effect, and this amendment is not to be construed as invalidating said ordinance Yo. 172 as the same has heretofore exigted, nor aAy legal things or ael, - thereunder. All other ordinances and parts of ordinances in con- flict herewith are hereby repealed. Section 3. This ordinance shall be in force from and after it's passage as required by law.
