AN ORDINANCE, AMIDING ORDINANCE NO. 1956, BEING AN ORDINANCE DEFINING NOISE NUISANCES; SPECIFYING CER_ TAIN ACTS CONSTITUTING NOISE NUISANCES BY ADDING SUBSECTIONS (n) AID (o) TO SECTION 2 THEREOF; PRO- VIDU,G THAT THE SOUNDING OF ANY SIREN, HORN OR OTHER SIGNAL DEVICE ON kNY AUTOVO➢ILE, A:dBULANCE, TRUCI-, MOTORCYCLE, BUS, STREET CAR OR OTHER VEHICLE, EXCEPT AS A DANGER OR -.111W ING SIGNAL, SHALL BE UNLA0UL; PROVIDING THE BLOWING-OR SOUNDING OF ZY STEAIAI a.HISTLE, HORN OR SI21AL DEVICE ON ANY ENGINE, LOCOI.OTIVE CAR OR VEHICLE ADAPTED TO THE RAILS OF A RAILROAD, EXCEPT AS A 'JARNING OR DANGER SIGNAL, SHALL BE UNLALLV1FUL; CON- TAINING A SAVING CLAUSE; REPEALING ORDINANCES IN CON- FLICT HF.R.E1,'4ITH; PROVIDING A PEN.ILTY FOR THE VIOLATION THEREOF; AND NAIaNG API EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT ',NORTH: SECTION 1. That Ordinance No. 1956 be amended by adding Subsections (n) and (o) to Section 2, and said subsections shall read as follows: (n) The sounding of any.siren, horn or other signal device on any autWmobile, ambulance, truck, motorcycle, buN, street car or other vehicle in the City of Fort 'North, Texas, except as a danger or warning signal to persons or animals using the streets, sidewalks and public thorough- fares, shall constitute a violation of this ordinance. (o) The blowing or sounding of any steam whistle, horn or signal device on any engine, locomotive car or vehicle adapted to the rails of a railroad in`the City of Fort Worth, Texas, except as a warning or danger sig- nal to persons or animals approaching, crossing or using the tracks of the railroad, shall constitute a violation of this ordinance. SECTION 2. Every section of this ordinance and every provision of each section' is hereby declared to be an individual section or provision, and the hold- ing of any section or provision of any section to be void, ineffective or unconstitutional for any cause whatever shall not be deemed to affect any other section or provision thereof. SECTION 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in.conflict herewith shall be and they are hereby expressly repealed. SECTION k, Any person violating any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be fined in any sum not more than Two Hundred Dollars ($200,00), Each day a violation under this ordinance continues shall.constitute a separate of- fense, SECTION 5, This ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect from and after the date of its passage and publication as required by law, APPROVED AS TO FORM ATdD LEGALITY: City Attorney ��
