Jones Re: Alley Closing Block 48, City Manager Polytechnic Hts. Addition Building Dear Sir: Reference is made to the attached letter from Mr. J. B. Griffin and Mr. G. E. Fortenbury requesting the closing of the all@r in Block 48, Polytechnic Hts. Addition. We are attaching a plat showing the location of this alley. The alley has not been opened on the ground and it dead ends against A. S. Hall Addition 75' east of Wallace Street. There are no utility lines in the alley except two gmy wires anchored near Wallace Street. Oar recommendation is that the alley be closed as requested and that any existing easements for public utilities be retained. Yours very truly, C. M. THEL DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS INN:mh Attd. / .
