AN ORDINANCE EXTENDING THE BOUNDARY LIMITS AND ANNEXING CERTAIN
TERRITORY LYING ADJACENT TO THE CITY OF FORT WORTH; PROVIDING
THAT THE ORDINANCE BE ADVERTISED IN A DAILY NEWSPAPER PUBLISHED
IN SAID CITY IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF SECTION 40,
CHAPTER XXVIII OF THE CITY CHARTER; AND PRESCRIBING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
That the hereinafter described territory lying adjacent to the City
of Fort Worth is hereby annexed and brought within the corporate limits
and made an integral part of said City of Fort Worth, said territory being
situated. in Tarrant County, Texas, and being described by metes and bounds
as follows:
Parcel No. 1
Beginning at a point in the present City of Fort Worth
city limit line, said point being the northwest corner of
Ederville Road and White Lake East Road;
Thence north along the present City of Fort Worth city
limit line and along the westerly line of Tderville Road to
the north line of Randal Mill Road;
Thence vest with the north line of Randal Mill Road to
the east line of the Handley Ederville Road;
Thence north along the east line of the Handley-Ederville
Road to the intersection of the south city limit line of Rich-
land Hills;
Thence vest along the south city limit line of Richland
Hills and along the south line of Midvay Road to the east line
of the G. Akers Survey, said point being in the east line of a
100' strip around Haltom City described in Ordinance No. 3561,
first reading November 14, 1956;
Thence south along the east line of the G. B. Stanley,
H. B. Tuggle, and the W. R. Reeder Surveys and along the east
line of said 100' strip to the center line of the Trinity River;
Thence up the centerline of the said river along the southerly
line of said 100' strip to a point 100' south of the south line
of the S. Elliott Survey;;
Thence west parallel to and 100' south of the S. Elliott Sur-
vey crossing the east line of the Tinsley Survey and along the
south line of said 100' strip to a point 100 feet west of the
east line of Tinsley Survey;
Thence north 1001 west of and parallel to the east line of
the Tinsley Survey and along the west line of said 100' strip
to a point in the present City of Fort Worth city limit line,
said point being in the south line of Howard Haltom Road;
Thence westerly and southerly along the present City of
Fort Worth city limit line and along the southerly and easterly
line of said Howard-Haltom Road to a point in the south line of
East First Street;
Thence in an easterly direction along the present City of
Fort Worth city limit line to the point of beginning, said tract
of land containing approximately 5.2 square miles.

Parcel No. 2
Beginning at a point in the present City of Fort Worth
city limits, said point being in the west line of the J. Bur-
nett Survey and the south right of way line of the Hurst Pipe-
line Road (County Road No. 3005);
?hence in a westerly direction along the south right of
way line of said Hurst Pipeline Road (County Road No. 3005) to
the southerly line of State Highway 183;
Thence in a westerly direction along the southerly right
of way line of State Highway No. 183 to the east right of way
line of Souder-Hurst Road (County Road No. 3104);
Thence south along the east right of way line of Souder-
Hurst Road (County Road No. 3104) to the south right of way
line of the Trammell-Davie Road (County Road NO. 3112);
Thence west along the south right of way line of the
Trammell-Davis Road (County Road No. 3112) to the east right
of way line of Randol Mill-Hurst-Precinct Line Road (County
Road No. 3035);
Thence south along the east right of way line of the Randol
Mill Hurst-Precinct Line Road (County Road No. 3035) to the
center of the Trinity River;
Thence in an easterly direction with the center of said
Trinity River, following the meanderings thereof, to the north
line of the J. L. Hallum. Survey;
Thence east along the north line of the J. L. Hallum Survey
to the east line of the Bedford Arlington Road (County Road No.
3094);
Thence north along the east line of the Bedford Arlington
Road (County Road No. 3094) to the south right of way line of
the C. R. I. & G. Railroad;
Thence in an easterly direction along the southerly right
of way line of the C. R. I. & G. Railroad to the west line of
the J. Burnett Survey;
Thence north along the west line of the J. Burnett Survey
to a point in the south right of way line of Hurst Pipeline
Road (County Road No. 3005), said point being the place of be-
ginning, and containing approximately 7.43 square miles.
Parcel No. 3
Beginning at a point in the present City of Fort Worth city
limit line, said point being the intersection of the south
line of the Greater Fort Worth International Airport and the
Tarrant County line, said point also being in the westerly line
of the City of Grand Prairie city limits;
Thence south along the Grand Prairie city limits and along
the Tarrant County line to the center line of the 'Trinity River;
Thence northerly with the center line of the Trinity River
and along the Grand Prairie city limits to a point of intersection
with the City of Arlington city limits, said point being in the
east line of the J. Estill Survey;
Thence north along the City of Arlington city limit line
and along the east line of the J. Estill Survey to the northeast
corner thereof;
Thence east along the south line of the J. Burnett Survey
to the southeast corner thereof;
Thence north along the City of Arlington city limit line and
along the east line of the J. Burnett Survey to a point of in-
tersection with the present City of Fort Worth city limit line,
said point being in the south line of the Greater Fort Worth In-
ternational Airport;
Thence east along the present City of Fort Worth city limit
line to the place of beginning, and containing approximately 0.64
square miles.

Parcel No. 4
Beginning at a point in the present City of Fort Worth city
limit line, said point being in the most easterly northeast
corner of the Greater Fort Worth International Airport and the
Tarrant-Dallas County line;
Thence north with the Tarrant-Dallas County line to the south
line of the P. Bacus Survey;
Thence west with the south line of the P. Bacus Survey and
the I. Crowley Survey to the point of intersection with the
City of Buless city limit line, said point being in the south
line of the I. Crowley Survey;
Thence south and west with the City of Euless city limit
line to a point in the present City of Fort Worth city limit
line, said point being in the eer0arly line of the Gmater
Fort Worth International A wA the southerly line of
Highway No. 183;
Thence east, south and east with the present City of Fort
Worth city limit line to the place of beginning, and containing
approximately 2.84 square miles.
Parcel No. 5
Beginning at a point in the present City of Fort Worth city
limits, said point being in the south right of way line of State
Highway No. 183 and the northwest corner of Tract No. 1 of the
A. J. Huitt Survey;
Thence south along the west line of Tract No. 1 of the A. J.
Huitt Survey a distance of 2,641.1 feet;
Thence east along the south line of the A. J. Huitt Survey
and the north line of the W. G. Mathews Survey to the west line
of the V. J. Hutton Survey, a distance of 1,306.1 feet;
Thence south along the west line of the V. J. Hutton Survey
and the west line of the G. F. W. I. A. to a point in the north
right of way of the Hurst Pipeline Road (County Road No. 3005);
Thence in a westerly direction along the northerly line of
the Hurst Pipeline Road (County Road We. 3005) to a point in
the Euless city limit line;
Thence in a northerly and easterly direction along the present
Euless city limits to the south right of way line of State High-
way No. 183;
Thence east along the south right of way line of State High-
way No. 183 to the place of beginning, and containing approximately
.5 square miles.
SECTION 2.
That this ordinance shall be published one time in the Fort Worth
Star-Telegram, a daily newspaper published in the City of Fort Worth, in
accordance with the provisions of Section 40, Chapter XXVIII of the City
Charter.
SECTION 3.
That this ordinance shall become effective and be in full force and
effect upon its final passage, which in no event shall be less than thirty
(30) days from the date of its publication as aforesaid, and it is Be or-
dained.
