AN ORDINANCE CLOSING AND VACATING THE NORTH-SOUTH
UTILITY EASEMENT LYING BETWEEN LOTS 2 AND 3 AND
LOTS 12 AND 13, BLOCK 99, TEXAS & PACIFIC RAILWAY
COMPANY ADDITION TO THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TAR-
RANT COUNTY, TEXAS, AS RECORDED IN VOL. 63, PAGE
107, OF THE PLAT RECORDS OF TARRANT COUNTY, TEXAS;
AND PROVIDING FOR THE REVERSION OF THE INTEREST
OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH IN SAID LAND.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
WORTH, TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
That the north-south utility easement lying between
Lots 2 and 3 and Lots 12 and 13, Block 99, Texas & Pacific
Railway Company Addition to the City of Fort Worth, Tarrant
County, Texas, as recorded in Vol. 63, page 107, of the Plat
Records of said County, be and the same is hereby extinguished,
vacated, closed and permanently abandoned as an easement for
public utilities, save and except that the Texas Electric Serv-
ice Company easement is retained to permit operation and main-
tenance of its existing electric facilities in their present
location until such time as they are no longer needed.
SECTION 2.
That the interest of the City of Fort Worth in the fee
to the land in said easement above described is hereby released
and shall revert to the adjacent owner of the fee as provided
by law.
SECTION 3.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4.
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full
force and effect from and after the date of its passage.
