City of Fort Worth, Texas, held in the council chamber at
the city hall on Saturday, the 9th day of May, A. D. 1925,
the following were present: H. C. Meacham, Mayor, Willard
Burton, T. B. Hoffer, A. E. Thomas, Wm. Bryce, E. T. Renfro,
Wm. Mounig, W. E. Austin and L. P. Card, and none were absent,
constituting the entire membership of the council of nine
members, and City Secretary C. S. Snow was in attendance at
daid meeting, and the following business among other things
was had and transacted:

seconded by Councilman , the follow-
ing ordinance was unanimously passed and adopted, and all of
the councilmen, including the Mayor, voting aye thereon and
none voting no:
ORDINANCE N0. 4104
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE CANCELLATION OF
THE WARRANTS AND INTEREST COUPONS ATTACHED FMM
REMAINING UNDELIVERED
DESIGNATED "CITY OF WORTH PARK IMPROVEMENT
WARRANTS, SERIES 1924-B."
WHEREAS, on the 21st day of February, A. D. 1925,
the Board of Commissioners of the City of Fort Worth, Texas
passed and adopted ordinance No. 1055 providing for the is-
suance of City of Fort Worth Park Improvement Warrants, series
1924-B in the amount of $12,000 in the denomination of $1,000
each, numbered 41 to 52 inclusive to be delivered to the
West Texas Construction Company upon approved estimates as
the work contemplated under said work progressed; s

WHEREAS, all of the services to be performed and the
materials to be furnished have been performed and furnished and
the remaining three warrants with coupons attached will not be
needed; NOW, THEREFORE:
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FORT WORTH:
SECTION I
That the remaining warrants Nos. 50, 51 and 52 of said
series of warrants designated "City of Fort Worth, Texas Park
Improvements Warrants, Series 19249B" together with interest
coupons attached from 1 to 29 inclusive, be and they are here-
by ordered destroyed and cancelled, the Council at this time
finding and determining that sufficient warrants have been
legally executed and delivered to said contractor to pay for
said services and materials in full.
SECTION II
The Mayor and City Secretary are hereby directed and
empowered to physically destroy said unused and undelivered
warrants.
SECTION III
This ordinance shall take effect and be in full force

from and after the date of its passage as provided by law.

Texas, do hereby certify that the above and foregoing is a true,
full and correct copy of an ordinance passed by the City Coun-
cil of said city on the 9th day of May, A. D. 1925 as is shown
in the minutes of the City Council.
