AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING THAT THE UTILITY EASEMENT
5' IN WIDTH AND APPROXIMATELY 1734.52' IN LENGTH,
FROM OAKLAND HILLS DRIVE TO HIGH WOODS TRAIL,
ALONG THE SOUTHERN LOT LINE OF LOT 1, BLOCK 11,
WOODHAVEN COUNTRY CLUB ESTATES, BE VACATED, A-
BANDONED AND CLOSED; AND PROVIDING THAT THE U-
TILITY EASEMENT 10' IN WIDTH AND APPROXIMATELY
442.52' IN LENGTH, FROM A POINT 10' SOUTH OF THE
SOUTH RIGHT-OF-WAY LINE OF BOCA RATON BOULEVARD
SOUTH ALONG HIGH WOODS TRAIL TO THE SOUTHEAST
CORNER OF LOT 1, BLOCK 11, WOODHAVEN COUNTRY CLUB
ESTATES BE VACATED, ABANDONED AND CLOSED; SAVE
AND EXCEPT THAT EASEMENTS ARE RETAINED FOR ANY
AND ALL EXISTING AND PROSPECTIVE UTILITIES; PRO-
VIDING FOR THE REVERSION OF THE FEE IN SAID LAND;
REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH AND
PROVIDING THAT THIS ORDINANCE SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE
IMMEDIATELY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
That the utility easement 5' in width and approximately
1734.52 feet in length, from Oakland Hills Drive to High Woods
Trail, along the Southern Lot line of Lot 1, Block 11, Woodhaven
Country Club Estates and the utility easement 10' in width and
approximately 442.52' in length, from a point 10' South of the
South Right-of-Way line of Boca Raton Boulevard South along
High Woods Trail to the Southeast corner of Lot 1, Block 11,
Woodhaven Country Club Estates be and the same are hereby ex-
tinguished, vacated, closed and permanently abandoned as
easements for public utilities, SAVE AND EXCEPT that easements
are retained for any and all existing and prospective utilities.

SECTION 2.
That the fee to the land in the above described easements
is hereby released and will revert to the adjacent owners as
provided by law, SAVE AND EXCEPT that easements are reserved
for any and all existing and prospective utilities.
SECTION 3.
All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4.
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force
and effect from and after the date of its passage and it is so
ordained.

Woodhaven Country Club Estates, owner of all abutting property, has requested
the City vacate a utility easement five feet in width and approximately
1734.52 feet in length, from Oakland Hills Drive to High Woods Trail, along
the southern lot line of Lot 1, Block 11, Woodhaven Country Club Estates;
and, furthermore, to vacate a utility easement ten feet in width and approxi-
mately 442.52 feet in length, from a point 10 feet south of the south right-
of-way line of Boca Raton Boulevard, south along High Woods Trail to the
southeast corner of Lot 1, Block 11, Woodhaven Country Club Estates, as shown
on the attached map.
Subject easement rights-of-way, acquired by dedication, are not in use and
contain no public facilities.
City departments and private utility companies have reviewed this request and
recommend the easement rights-of-way be vacated as requested.
Recommendation
It is recommended that an ordinance be adopted vacating subject easement
rights-of-way as requested.
