Mrs. McKnight and Gentlemen:
A request has been received from all'of the adjacent property owners for
the closing of the alley in Block 19, Brooklyn Heights Addition. The
purpose of this request is to permit the consolidation and development
of commercial property.
The Public Works and City Planning Departments have investigated this
request, have contacted all interested parties, and have found no
objections to the closing, provided easements are reserved for existing
Texas Electric Service Company and sanitary sewer facilities. The alley
to be closed is as follows:
The alley in Block 19, Brooklyn Heights Addition, to
the City of Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas, between
Locke Avenue and the East-West Freeway from De Gary
Street to Belasco Street; SAVE AND EXCEPT easements
being reserved for any and all existing 'at&1- tttes
including a 10 foot easement for the existing sanitary
sewer being measured 5 feet each side of the center
of the sewer, and the east 80 feet of the alley being
reserved as easement for existing Texas Electric Service
Company facilities.
It is recommended that an ordinance be adopted closing the alley in
Block 19, Brooklyn Heights Addition.
