Yw ' TEX_� ORDINANCE NO. _ AN ORDINANCE VACATING, ABANDONING AND CLOSING THE 10 FOOT BY 141.7 FOOT UTILITY EASEMENT LOCATED ALONG THE COMMON LOT LINE BETWEEN LOTS 13 AND 14, BLOCK 48, RIDGMAR ADDITION TO THE CITY OF FORT WORTH; AND PROVIDING FOR THE REVERSION OF THE INTEREST OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH IN SAID LAND. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That the 10 foot by 141.7 foot utility easement located along the common lot line between Lots 13 and 14, Block 48, Ridgmar Addition to the City of Fort Worth,be and the same is hereby extinguished, vacated, closed and permanently abandoned as an easement for public utilities. SECTION 2. That the interest of the City of Fort Worth in the fee to the land in said easement above described is hereby released and shall revert to the adjacent owners of the fee as provided by law. SECTION 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. SECTION 4. BUCKMAIV Vacation of UtilityEasement DATE REFERENCE SUBJECT: - PAGE GRAHAM NUMBER Lots 13 and 14, Block 48, 10/6/69 1 or 1 PZ-360 Ridgmar Addition (V-69-44) REED Messrs. T. L. Farris and G. S. Massingill, owners of all abutting property, have requested that the City vacate the ten (10) foot by 141.7 foot utility easement, located along the common lot line between Lots 13 and 14, Block 48, Ridgmar Addition, as shown on the attached map. Subject easement is not now being used and will not be needed in the future. City departments and private utility companies have reviewed this request and have no objection to this vacation. The City Plan Commission has reviewed this request and recommends adoption of an ordinance vacating the utility easement as requested. Recommendation It is recommended that an ordinance be adopted vacating subject easement as recommended by the City Plan Commission.
