AN ORDINANCE VACATING, ABANDONING AND CLOSING
THE EAST/WEST ALLEY IN BLOCK 6, INTERURBAN
ADDITION TO THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, A WIDTH OF
15' AND A LENGTH OF 500' FROM GRAFTON STREET
TO WINDHAM STREET; PROVIDING FOR THE REVERSION
OF THE FEE IN SAID LAND; REPEALING ALL ORDIN-
ANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH AND PROVIDING THAT
THIS ORDINANCE SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE IMMED-
IATELY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
That the east/west alley in Block 6, Interurban Addition
to the City of Fort Worth, a width of 15' and a length of 500'
from Grafton Street to Windham Street, be and the same is hereby
vacated, abandoned and permanently closed as an alley.
SECTION 2.
That the fee to the land in the above described alley
is hereby released and will revert to the adjacent owners
as provided by law, SAVE AND EXCEPT that easements are re-
served therein for any and all existing utilities.
SECTION 3.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4.
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full
force and effect from and after the date of its passage and
it is so ordained.

Holt Hickman, owner of all of Block 6, Interurban Addition, has requested
that the City vacate the east/west alley in Block 6, Interurban Addition,
a width of 15 feetand a length of 500 feet from Grafton Street to
Windham Street, of 4h9ur on the attached map.
The Aubject alley is nwft'her paved nor open and contains no utilities,
having been dedicated originally in Volume 106, Page 157, Deed Records,
Tarrant County, Texas.
Reviewing City departments and private utility companies have no objec-
tions to the requested vacation provided that a satisfactory replat is
submittebd,-)dedicating additional right-of-way on Bomar and Windham Streets.
A satisfactory replat has been submitted to City staff. The City Plan
Commission has reviewed this request and recommends that the subject
right-of-way be vacated as requested.
Recommendation
It is recommended that an ordinance be adopted vacating subject�-
