AN Ordinance providing for the annexation to the City of Fort Worth of pertain territory in Tarrant County, Texas, adjoining and contiguous to said City of .1brt Worth, and being One Hundred & Sixty-one & Nine-tenths (161.9) acres, more or less-, p adjoining Trinity Park on the South and West, and out of � -�- +--;-� Surv!K and being an addition to Trinity Park, described by metes and bounds as hereinafter set forth, in ji body of this ordinance. BE IT ORDLIKEND BY THE BOARD OF COMSSIOME S OF TIC CITY OF FORT WORTH: r Section 1. That it being made -to appear to the Board of Commissioners of the City of Fort Worth that the property herein- after described by metes and bounds, is the property of the said City of Fort Worth, heretofore acquired and being used for park purposes, and that nose of said territory is owned by any other person, whomsoever, and that it Is expedient that said territory adjoining and being contiguous to the present territory limits of the City of Fort Worth, be annexed unto the City of Fort Worth and taken into the territorial limits of the City of Fort Worth, said territory being a Part of the a'-� ' i 5urve* in Tarrant County, Texas, and being described by metes and bounds as follows: Beginning at a point in the City limits at the intersection of the East line of the right of way of the R. R. T. & S. Ry. with the center line of the Fort Worth Improvement District Nor. 1 Lever, Thence in a Southerly direction #W## with the East line of the right of way of the R. R. T. & S. Ry, to its intersection with the North lint of the George Shields Survey: Thence South 86" 45�- West a distance of 3027 feet along said Borth line of said Shiilds Survey to a stake at the -Northwest corner of George Shibelds Survey; Thence South a distance of 2526 feet to a stake at the Southwest corner of Block 41 Edward Heire,Addition to the City of Fort ,Nrth; Thence West 1390 feet to a stake at the -Northwest corner o*'Rock Spring Park and 1280 feet Fast of the West line of a tract abnveyed to E. R. Gallaier, et al, by James Harrison, by deed recorded in Vol, 326, p age 388, of the Deed Records of Tarrant County, Texas; Thence South 1551.4 feet to the South line of said tract; Thence Bast 6a,2YAto a line represented by a certain call In a deed to James Harrison, grantee, recorded in ' V01.212; page 237, of the Deed Records of Tarrant County, Texas; which call reads as follows; "Thence North 344.7 #M vre. tolan iron pin the South- west corner of a seven-acre tract as described in deed to Mrs. Randall and recorded in Vol. 170, page 616, Tarrant County Deed Records". Thence North 54, 24 vre. to an iron pin in the Southwest corner of the Randall seven-acre 'tract; • Thence -North 83.16 vre. to an iron pin the Northwest corner of said seven-acre tract, , Thence East 1320 feet to an iron pin in the mast line of the T. white Survey, 558.3 vrs. North of its Southeast corner; Thence North along the Fast line of the Thomas White survey 1185. 8 feet to a point 20 feet North of the Southwest corner of the George Shields Survey, which is the Southwest corner of Block 41, Edwards Heirs Addition to the City of Fort Worth, Texas; Thence mast along the North line of Cresswell (Cooper)Street, a distance of 1195 feet to the Southeast corner of Block 37, Edwards Heirs Addition, and in the present City limits line; Thence following the City's limits line in a Northerly direction to the place off], beginning, and containing 161,9 acres. more or less. That the above and foregoing territory described, be and the same is hereby annexed to and made a part of the Corporation of the City of Fort Worth, and the corporate limits of the said City of Fort Worth as they now exist, be and the same are hereby extended and enlarged so as to embrace and include said territory as an integral and component part of the said City of Fort Worth, and the inhabitants of said territory residing and having their domicile there- in, shall hereafter be entitled to and enjoy all the legal rights and privileges of the citizens of the said City of Fort Worth and be bound by and required to respect all the legal acts, ordinances, rules and regulations governing the citizens of said City, and they shall be subjected to and required to bear and discharge the same responsibilities as other citizens of said City.
