That the hereinafter described territory lying adjacent to the City of Fort Worth is hereby annexed and brought within the coroorate limits and made an integral part of said City of FortWortl,:, said territory being situated in Tarrant County, Texas, and being described by rr;etes and bounds as follows: BEING a tract of land about six ?riles northwest from the Courthouse of Tarrant County, Texas, and lying in and including all or part of the J.C. Donaldson and J.M. Basques Surveys, and beinm more Tully described as follows: B3GINNIN3 at a point in the present city limit line of the City of Fort Worth 250 feet south of the south right-of-way line of Charbonneau Road, said point being; 50 feet east of the present city limit line of Lake Worth Village, and the east right-of.-way line of Dakota Trail produced north; TH'I`ICE in an easterly direction alon7 the oresent city limit line of the City of Fort Borth a line 50 feet south of and parallel, to the present city limit line of Lake 'Forth Village, 250 feet south of the south right-of-way line of Charbonneau Road and the south right-of- way line of Jacksboro Highway to its intersection with the west right- of-way line of Roberts Cut-Off road; THE+1NC south along the west right-of-way line of Roberts Cut- Off Road to its intersection with the city limit line of the City of Fort Worth; THENCE west, south, west, southweste_ly, south, west, north, west, northwesterly, north, and west along the city limit line of the City of Fort p+orth to a. point 50 feet east of t he _present city limit line of Lake Worth Village; THENCE north along the present city limit line of the City of Fort v'orth 50 feet east of and parallel to the present city limit lines of Lake 6orth Village, to the point of beginning and containing approximately 1.188 square miles. Section 2. That this ordinance shall and does hereby amend every -)rior ordinance in conflict herewith, and n.ore particularly this Ordinance expressly amends Ordinance No. 3717, heretofore adopted and passed on July 15, 1963, but as to all other ordinances or sections of ordinances not in direct conflict herewith this ordinance shall be and is hereby, made cumulative. Section 3. That this ordinance shell be published-one time in a daily newspaper published in the City of Fort Worth, in accordance with the provisions of Section 40, Chapter XYVIII of the City Charter. Section 4. If any section, subsection, clause, sentence, phrase, or word of this ordinance is for any reason held void or unconstitutional by a court of competent jurisdiation, such invalidity shall not affect the validity of the remaining sections., subsections, clauses, sentences, phrases or words, except as the same are inseparable from and indispensable to the remaining portions.of the ordinance. Section 5• That this ordinance shall become effective and be in full force and effect upon its final passage, which in no event shall be less than thirty (30) days from the date of.its publications, 'as aforesaid, and it is so ordained.
