THIRD AMENDMENT TO
CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT NO. 48083
THIS THIRD AMENDMENT to City Secretary Contract No. 48083 is entered into by and
between the City of Fort Worth ("City"), a home-rule municipality in the State of Texas, acting
through Valerie Washington, its duly authorized Assistant City Manager, and Lighting
Resources, LLC ("Contractor"), acting through Daniel Gillespie, its duly authorized
President.
WHEREAS, the City and Lighting Resources, LLC have entered into that certain agreement
identified as City Secretary Contract No.48083 (also the "Contract")commencing on August
11, 2017 for services involving packaging, transportation, and disposal of various lamp,
ballast, and electronic waste; and
WHEREAS, City Secretary Contract No. 48083 provides for the extension of the term of the
agreement for up to four additional periods of one year each; and
WHEREAS the parties are currently in the second term of the Contract; and
WHEREAS the parties wish to increase the not-to-exceed amount of the Contract; and
WHEREAS, the parties agree that all other conditions, terms, and pricing shall remain the
same as stated in City Secretary Contract No. 48083-A2.
NOW, THEREFORE, for and in consideration of the mutual covenants contained herein,
and other good and valuable consideration, the receipt and sufficiency of which are
hereby acknowledged and confessed, the parties hereto agree as follows:
1. Extended term of contract:
City Secretary Contract number 48083 is extended to include the third term beginning
August 11, 2019 and ending August 10, 2020.
2. Compensation Not to Exceed Amount:
The not-to-exceed amount for this contract shall be increased by $20,000.00 for a total
amount not to exceed $50,000.00 for each new term.
3. Line Item Addition:
