ORDINANCE ����
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING THAT THAT PORTION OF EAST PULASKI
STREET BETW'EM THE EAST RIGST OF WAY LIM OF THE I. & G.
N. RAILROAD AND TM WEST LINE OF MI TON STREET, IN THE
CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEgAS, BE ABANDONED, CL(BED AND VACAT-
ED, AVID PROVIDING FOR THE REPEAL OF ALL ORDINANCES OR
PORTIONS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HE EWITE, AND PROVID-
ING THAT TBIS ORDINANCE BE DMEDIATELY EFFECTIVE.
WERMAS, it appearing to the City Council of the City of
Fort Worth, Tema, that that portion of East Pulaski between the east
right of nay line of the I. & G. N. Railroad and the west line of Lux-
ton Street in the City of Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas, has been
closed for many years and has never been used as a public street or
thoroughfare, and that it is to the best interest of the public that
said street be closed, abandoned and vacated as a public thoroughfare.
NOW, TMMFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH:
SECTION I.
That that portion of East Pulaski Street between the east right
of way line of the I. & G. N. Railroad and the west line of L=ton Street,
said portion also lying between Block 6 on the north and Block 9 on the
south of Vickery's Addition to the City of Fort Worth, Tarrant County,
Texas, be and the sane is hereby vacated, closed and permanently abandoned
as a street or pablic 'thoroughfare of any kind or character.
SECTION II.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
are hereby repealed.
SECTION III.
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and
effect from and after the date of its passage.
