Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Fort Worth, that the intervening space, or alley, run- ning East and West through that part of Block Thirty-Seven (371 of Chamberlain, Arlington Heights First Filing to the City of Fort Worth, Texas, as shown by plat recorded in �ook 63. Page 21, Plat and Deed Records of Tarrant County, Texas, and in the City of Fort Worth, Texas, lying between Lots One, Two, Three, Four and Five on the North side of said alley, and Lots Thirty-Two, Thirty-Three, Thirty-Four, Thirty-Five, Thirty-Six, Thirty-Seven, Thirty-Right, Thirty-Nine and Forty on the South side of said alley, be and the same is hereby vacated, abandoned and closed as an alley, street or public thoroWgh-=fare; and the owners of the property or lots adjacent thereto shall have the right to sell and convey and im- prove and use the adjacent portion of the land to the celMer of said alley, and the'•rfFht to use said alley as a public thorough- fare is hereby waived in favor of the owners of the lots or parcels of land adjacent thereto. r.r - TO THE HONORABLE' 'TAYOF AND BOARD OF COIMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF FORT `ORTH; FORT :ORTH, TEXAS. We, the undersigned, being the owners in fee simple of all of the property adjacent to the alley lying between lots one (1) to five (5) inclusive, and lots twenty-fife (25) to forty (40) inclu- sive, in that part of Block thirty-seven (37) of Chamberlain, Arlington Heights First Filing, to the City of Fort Worth in Tarrant County, Texas, lying on the South side of Arlington Heights Boulevard and between Sixth Avenue and Arlington Heights Boulevard, desire that the alley running East and 'West and along the South end of Lots One Two, Three, Four and Five, and along the North eftdrof Lots Thirty-Two 182) to' Forty (40) in- clusive in said portion of said block, be vacated, abandoned and closed, submit: That said alley has never been worked or in any way maintained or used as a alley, but ie, siiftly designated as such upon the plat-a esi-E property. And, whereas, a purchaser desires to purchase and to make use of all of the lots on the North side of said alley and Lots Thirty-Seven (.37) to Forty (40) inclusive on the South side of said alley and that portion of said alley lying between same, for church purposes, and whereas, said alley is unnecessary to the use of any of said property. -A Now therefore, we, the undersigned, being the oVers of said property aforesaid, make and file this our petittori to T:avf.
