BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE ()1TY-0iP'-r F'iT :T13 SECTION 1. There is hereby established what is known as Safety Zones, at points or places, where street cars stop for the purpose of receiving or discharging passengers; said Safety zones shall be designated by a post or sign placed six (6) feet from the street car line, on the side of the street where the street car stops, and extending 50 feet from the Rorner of the street parallel with the street car line back to the post or sign; such safety zones may also be des- ignated by visible lines drawn on toe pavement Ior the street/ .at the places where the street cars stop `for the purpose of receiving �.rd dis4A�;;int; and it shall b-e unlawful for any person or persons; to drive or run o; propel any (� �� automobile or vehicle of any kind withir^jhe said safety zones SECTION 2. It shall be unlawful for any person or persons, firm or corporation to park any automobile or vehicle of any kind on the curb line immediately opposite any safety zone$ or within a distance that renders it impracticable for drivers of oars or vehicles to avoid said safety zones. SECTION 3i It shall be unlawful for any person or persons, firm or corporation to stop any automobile or vehicle of any kind immediately opposite any of the safety zones herein provided for. SECTION 4. It shall be unlawful for any person or persons to operate or drive any automobile or vehicle/of any kind at a greater rate of speed than AAw miles per hour when passing any safety zone on the streets of the Citq_of Fort Worth. SECTION 5. All automobiles and vehicles of every kind shall pass to the right of all safety zones on the streets of the City of Fort Worth., SECTION 6. Any person orr:persons, firm or corp- oration violating any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be guilty of a misdemeanor„and upon conviction shall be fined in any sum of not less than Five Dollars ($5.00) and --axot mare than One--Huadrad-Z-ol lar s (4100.00) ; and each viol- ation thereof shall be, and is hereby declared to be a separate and distinct offense and punishable as such. SECTION 7. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed by this ordinances SECTION 8. This ordinance is hereby declared to be cumulative to all other ordinances regulating traffic upon the streets of the City of Fort Worth, except wherein the .same are in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance. SECTION 9. Should any section or part of section of this ordinance be declared invalid by any court of competent juriddictiAn,__surh dell ton or judgment shall not affect the remaining sections or parts of sections of this ordinance, which shall continue to be in full force and effect. SECTION 10. This ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect from and after its passage and publication as required by law.
