AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING THAT THE FOLLOWING DESCRIBED PORTIONS
OF STREETS AND THE FOLLOWING DESCRIBED ALLEY BE VACATED,
ABANDONED AND CLOSED: ALL THAT PORTION OF BEN STREET DEDI-
CATED IN W. Q. KUYKENDALL'S SUBDIVISION BETWEEN HAZELINE
ROAD AND PANOLA STREET, APPROVED BY THE CITY PLAN COMMISSION
ON MAY 5, 1950, WHICH IS IN CONFLICT WITH W. Q. KUYKENDALL'S
CONSOLIDATED SUBDIVISION APPROVED BY THE CITY PLAN COMMISSION
ON MAY 5, 1956; ALL THAT PORTION OF PANOLA STREET BETWEEN THE
WEST LINE OF COLLARD STREET AND THE WEST LINE OF LOT "B,"
BLOCK 2 A OF W. Q. KUYKENDALL'S SUBDIVISION, BEING IN CON-
FLICT WITH W. Q. KUYKENDALL'S CONSOLIDATED SUBDIVISION APPROVED
BY THE CITY PLAN COMMISSION ON MAY 5, 1958; AND ALL THAT POR-
TION OF THE ALLEY IN BLOCK 2, W. Q. KUYKENDAIL'S SUBDIVISION,
APPROVED BY THE CITY PLAN COMMISSION ON MAY 5, 1950, LYING BE-
TWEEN BEN STREET AND COLLARD STREET FROM HAZELINE ROAD TO
PANOLA STREET; PROVIDING FOR THE REVERSION OF THE FEE IN SAID
LAND; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PRO-
VIDING THAT THIS ORDINANCE SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
That all of the following described lots, tracts and parcels of
land be and the same are hereby vacated, closed and permanently abandoned
as streets, alleys or public thoroughfares:
All that portion of Ben Street dedicated in W. Q. Kuyken-
dall's Subdivision between Hazeline Road and Panola Street,
approved by the City Plan Commission on May 5, 1950, which
is in conflict with W. Q. Kuykendall's Consolidated Subdivi-
sion approved by the City Plan Commission on May 5, 1958;
All that portion of Panola Street between the west line
of Collard Street and the west line of Lot "B," Block 2 A of
W. Q. Kuykendall's Subdivision, being in conflict with W. Q.
Kuykendall's Consolidated Subdivision approved by the City
Plan Commission on May 5, 1958; and
All that portion of the alley in Block 2, W. Q. Kuykendall's
Subdivision, approved by the City Plan Commission on May 5,
1950, lying between Ben Street and Collard Street from Hazeline
Road to Panola Street.
SECTION 2.
That the fee to the land in said streets, alleys or public thorough-
fares is hereby released and will revert to the adjacent owners as provided
by law, save and except that easements are reserved for all existing utili-
ties.
SECTION 3.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed.
SECTION k.
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and ef-
fect from and after the date of its passage.
