AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1914, KNOWN AS
THE PARKING &'.EfiER ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH,
TEXAS, CONCERNING THE INSTALLATION, REGULATION AND CON-
TROL OF THE USE OF PARKING METERS; PROVIDING FOR THE IN-
STALLATION OF ADDITIONAL PARKING YETERS ON CERTAIN STREETS
IN THE CITY OF FORT WORTH IN THE ONE (1) HOUR METER ZONE;
PROVIDING THAT THIS ORDINANCE SHALL BE CUMULATIVE OF ALL
OTHER TRAFFIC ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH; PRO-
VIDING A PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED THE SUM OF ONE HUNDRED
DOLLARS ($100.00); AND PROVIDING THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF
THIS ORDINANCE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
That Section XX of Ordinance No. 1914, limiting parking to one
(1) hour, be amended to include the following streets:
STREET EXTENT SIDE
West 7th Street Burnett to Cherry Street North
Burnett Street Sixth Street to Seventh Street Both
SECTION 2.
This ordinance shall be and is hereby declared to be cumulative
of all other ordinances of the City of Fort Worth affecting traffic
and shall not operate to repeal or effect any such ordinance or or-
dinances, except insofar as the provisions of such ordinance or ordin-
ances are inconsistent or in conflict with the provisions of this or-
dinance, in which instance or instances those provisions shall be and
they are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3.
Any person, firm or corporation who shall violate or permit, suf-
fer or allow anyone to violate any of the provisions of this ordinance
shall be guilty of an offense, and upon conviction shall be fined not
to exceed the sum of One Hundred Dollars ($100.00).
SECTION 4.
This ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect
from and after the date of its passage and publication as required by
law.
