APPRO FORM: / Assistant City Attorney 1080 West Dashwood Street, Fort Worth, Texas August 19, 1940 The City Council, Fort Worth, Texas ATTN: City Manager Gentlemen: The enclosed petitions signed by the abutting property owners to a now existing fifty (50) foot alley between Humboldt and Dashwood Streets, as shown by the enclosed plat, are self explanatory. It is the desire of these property owners to ' narrow this alley which will improve the general ap- pearance of the neighborhood, as this fifty (50) foot alley is of practically no convenience to anyone and has never been improved or graded by the City (there being only a wagon trail through it now) . It is also our wish to "ho#-#op" Dashwood from South Adams to Washing- ton and Humboldt from South Adams to DeLoach, and to this end we are now working. Trusting that you will give this proposal your attention and approval at your earliest conven- ience, I am Respectfully yours, 0 C. H. Smith, 1080 West Dashwood Street.
