AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING THAT THE ALLEY LYING BETWEEN
LOT 18, BLOCK 26, AND LOTS 48, 19, 20, 2.1, 22 AND 23,
BLOCK 26, NORTH GLENWOOD ADDITION TO THE CITY OF FORT
WORTH, TARRANT COUNTY, TEXAS, FROM HIRAM STREET TO EAST
LANCASTER, BE ABANDONED, VACATED AND CLOSED; AND PROVID-
ING FOR THE REVERSION OF THE FEE TO SAID LAND.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
That the alley lying between Lot 18, Block 26, and Lots 48, 19,
20, 21, 22 and 23, Block 26, North Glenwood Addition to the City of Fort
Worth, Tarrant County, Texas, from Hiram Street to East Lancaster, be and
the same is hereby vacated, closed and permanently abandoned as an alley
or public thoroughfare of any kind or character whatever.
SECTION 2.
That the fee to the land in said alley above described is hereby
released and will revert to the owners as provided by law.
SECTION 3.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4.
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and
effect from and after the date of its passage.
