AN ORDINANCE DISCONTINUING TERRITORY FROM WITHIN THE
CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH; PRESCRIBING
A SAVINGS CLAUSE; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT OiCDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TEE CITY OF FORT WORTH:
Section 1.
That the following described territory within the corpo:•ate limits of the City
of Fort Worth is hereby discontinued as a part of the City of Fort Worth and said
tract of land is described by metes and bounds as follows:
BEING a tract of land about 10 miles south from the Courthouse of
Tarrant County, Texas, anc lying in and including all or part of the C.
Martin, J. H. Duncan, Moses Walters, J. Korticky, W. H. Colthard, H.
Riddle, I & G N R.R. Co., H. K. Maples, J. R. Leath, A. Castillo, A.
Fernandez, John Colthard, H. Foster, P. Caldwell, J. Armendaris, H.
Mendoza, A. S. Young, Joseph Boden, H. G. Catlett No. S-149, H. G.
Catlett No. S-150, and h. G. Catlett No. S-157, M. A. Tolar, B. Pool,
and J. A. Gill Surveys;
BEGINNING at a point in the north right-of-way line of County Road
No. 1075 50 feet crest from the west line of the J. i;. Duncan Survey;
THENCE west, along the north line of County ;load No. 1075, with its
meanders, tc its intersection with the east 'line of County Road 12Io. 1035;
THENCE south, west, south, west, south, west, and sc:uth, along the
east right-of-way line of County Road No. 1035 with its meanders to its
intersection with the south line of Tarrant County, and continuing south
to the south line of the Joseph Boden Survey, in Johnson County, Texas;
THKNCE east, along the south line of the Joseph Boden Survey to its
southeast corner;
THENCE north, along the east line of the Joseph Boden Survey to the
southwest corner of the A. S. Young Survey;
THENCE east, along the south line of the A. S. Young Survey to the
northwesterly line of the H. G. Catlett Survey No. S-149;
THENCE southwesterly, along the northwesterly line of the H. G.
Catlett Survey No. S-149 to its west corner;
TIMdCE southeasterly, along the southwesterly line of the H. G.
Catlett Survey No. S-149 to its south corner;
THENCE northeasterly, along the southeasterly line of the I-. G.
Catlett Survey No. 5-149 to the west corner of the Ii. G. Catlett Survey

THENCE east along a line parallel to and 50 feet north from the south
line of the M. A. Tolar Survey to a point 50 feet west from the west line
of the J. A. Gill Survey produced south;
TIMICE north along a line parallel to and 50 feet west from the west
line of the J. A. Gill Survey produced south and along a line parallel to
and 50 feet west from the west line of the J. A. Gill Survey and alone
said line produced north to the place of beginning and containing approxi-
mately 7-77 square miles.
Section 2.
That this ordinance shall and does hereby amend every prior ordinance in conflict
herewith, and more particularly this ordinance expressly amends Ordinance No. 4827,
heretofore adopted and passed on July 15, 1963, but as to all other ordinances or
sections of ordinances not in direct conflict, herewith this ordinance shall be and
is hereby made cumulative.
Section 3.
If any sacticn, subsection or provision of this ordinance shall behold
invalid or unconstitutional by a court of col,petent jurisdiction, the portion
so }•eld to be invalid or unconstitutional stall not affect any other part of
the ordinance, which shall remair. in fell force and e`'fe,,a.
Section la.
This ordinance, *Tier it has o9en duly oassed, shall ',e entered as an
order on the minutes and permanent records of the City of ort i;orth, froi-: and
after the date of its entry, the territory herzinbefore described shall cease
to be a >rrt of the City of _port •.orth.
Section °>
That this Ordinance shall beco-te effective and shall be in zll force and
effect from and after its passage and it is so ordained.
