AN ORDINANCE VACATING, ABANDONING AND CLOSING
A UTILITY EASEMENT BISECTING THE COMMON LOT
LINES OF LOTS 4R AND 5R, BLOCK 300, WEDGWOOD
ADDITION, A WIDTH OF 10' AND A LENGTH OF 104'
FROM THE NORTH LINE OF CIBOLA DRIVE NORTH TO
THE EAST/WEST ALLEY; PROVIDING FOR THE REVERSION
OF THE FEE IN SAID LAND; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES
IN CONFLICT HEREWITH AND PROVIDING THAT THIS OR-
DINANCE SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
That the utility easement bisecting the common lot lines
of Lots 4R and 5R, Block 300, Wedgwood Addition, a width of
10' and a length of 104' from the north line of Cibola Drive
North to the east/west alley, be and the same is hereby vacated,
abandoned and permanently closed as a utility easement.
SECTION 2.
That the fee to the land in the above described utility
easement is hereby released and will revert to the adjacent
owners as provided by law, SAVE AND EXCEPT that easements are
reserved therein for any and all existing utilities.
SECTION 3.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4.
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full
force and effect from and after the date of its passage and

Ambassador Homes, Inc. , owner of all abutting property has requested
that the City vacate a utility easement bisecting the common lot
lines of Lots 4R and 5R, Block 300, Wedgwood Addition, a width of
10 feet and a length of 104 feet from the north line of Cibola Drive
north to the east/west alley.
The subject easement, acquired by dedication, contains no improvements.
City departments and private utility companies have reviewed this
request and have no objection to the proposed vacation.
Recommendation
It is recommended that an ordinance be adopted vacating this subject
easement as requested.
