AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING THAT THE ALLEY IN
BLOCK 35, NORTH FORT WORTH TOWNSITE ADDITION
TO THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TARRANT COUNTY,
TEXAS, BE ABANDONED, VACATED AND CLOSED, AND
EXCEPTING THE RIGHTS OF ALL PUBLIC UTILITIES
HERETOFORE ACQUIRED IN SAID ALLEY, AND PRO-
VIDING FOR THE REVERSION OF THE FEE TO SAID
LAND.
WHEREAS, it appearing to the City Council of the City
of Fort Worth that the alley running north and south through Block
35, North Fort Worth Townsite Addition, although a duly dedicated
and accepted alley for use by the public, has in fact never been
used by the public and that it is to the best interest of the pub-
lic that said alley be closed, abandoned and vacated as a public
thoroughfare and the fee to the land in said alley revert as pro-
vided by law, NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY T$E CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
WORTH, TEXAS:
SECTION I.
That the alley in Block 35, North Fort Worth, Townsite
Addition to the City of Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas, which
runs north and south through said block be and the same is hereby
vacated, closed and permanently abandoned as an alley or public
thoroughfare of any kind or character whatever.
SECTION II.
That the rights of all public utilities heretofore ac-
quired by said utilities for the purpose of constructing and main-
taining service lines shall not be disturbed, destroyed, revoked
or abrogated by any of the provisions of this ordinance; that said
rights as above set out shall remain in full force and effect.
SECTION III.
That the fee to the land in said alley is hereby released
and will revert to the owners as provided by law.

SECTION IV.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION V.
This ordinance shall take effect and be in fall force
and effect from and after the date of its passage.
