AN ORDINANCE EXTENDING THE BOUNDARY LIMITS AND ANNEXING CER-
TAIN TERRITORY LYING ADJACENT TO THE CITY OF FORT WORTH; PRO-
VIDING THAT THE ORDINANCE BE ADVERTISED IN A DAILY NEWSPAPER
PUBLISHED IN SAID CITY IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF
SECTION 40, CHAPTER XXVIII OF THE CITY CHARTER; AND PRESCRIB-
ING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
That the hereinafter described territory lying adjacent to the
City of Fort Worth is hereby annexed and brought within the corporate
limits and made an integral part of said City of Fort Worth, said ter-
ritory being situated in Tarrant County, Texas, and being described by
metes and bounds as follows:
Being a 31 acre tract of land north of and including the
right of way of the Southwest Loop Highway, and west of and
including the right of way of the Gulf, Colorado and Santa
Fe Railroad, and being more fully described as follows:
Beginning at the southwest corner of Block 46, Seminary
Hill Addition, also being a corner in the present city limit
line;
Thence east 1109.6 feet with the south line of Seminary
Hill Addition and along present city limit line to the east
right of way line of the Gulf, Colorado and Santa Fe Railroad;
Thence south 2 degrees 03 minutes west 1402.4 feet with
the east right of way line of the Gulf, Colorado and Santa Fe
Railroad to the intersection of said right of way line and
the south right of way line of the Southwest Loop Highway to
the west;
Thence westerly with the south right of way line of the
Southwest Loop Highway No. 217 the following curves and dis-
tances: North 68 degrees 59 minutes west 444.16 feet to the
beginning of a curve to the left with a radius of 2864.93
feet; thence westerly with said curve 285.33 feet to end of
curve; thence north 74 degrees 41 minutes west 299.15 feet;
thence south 52 degrees 40 minutes west 109.22 feet to the
east right of way line of West Cleburne Road;
Thence west 50 feet to the west right of way line of the
West Cleburne Road;
Thence north 470.3 feet with the present city limit line
to the north right of way line of the Southwest Loop Highway;
Thence east 50 feet to the east right of way line of the
West.Cleburne Road;
Thence north 663.6 feet with the present city limit line
to the place of beginning, and containing 31 acres of land.
SECTION 2.
That this ordinance shall be published one time in The Fort Worth
Press, a daily newspaper published in the City of Fort Worth, in accordance
with the provisions of Section 40, Chapter XXVIII of the City Charter.
SECTION 3.
That this ordinance shall become effective and be in full force
and effect upon its final passage, which in no event shall be less than
thirty (30) days from the date of its publication as aforesaid, and it
is so ordained.

FORT WORTH, TEXAS.
Lady and Gentlemen:
Comes now, Ted C. Peters, President of SUNRISE PARK
DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION, owner of the following described property,
and respectfully requests the City of Fort Worth to take such
property into the corporate limits of the City of Fort Worth.
The property sought by your petitioner to be annexed by the City
of Fort Worth is as follows:
Being a tract of land out of the M. J. Arocha
Survey, Abstract No. 1, in the South portion of the
City of Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas, and being
more particularly described by metes and bounds as
follows to-wit:
MGINNING at a concrete R.O.W. monument at the
intersection of the North line of the Southwest Loop
Highway No. 217 with the West A.O.W. line of the
Gulf-Colorado :nd Santa Fe Railroad,
THENCE Westerly with the North R.O.W. line of
said Loop Highway No. 217, the following courses and
distances, North 80 degrees 22' West 251 9/10 feet to
the beginning of a curve to the right with a radius of
2864 93/100 feet, thence Westerly with said curve 284
5/10 feet, North 74 degrees 411 West 376 1/10 feet and
North 37 degrees 19' West 143 1/10 feet to a concrete
A.O.W. monument in the East line of County Road,
I}IENCE North with the East line of said County Road
663 6/10 feet to the South line of Seminary Hill Addition,
THENCE East with said line 1009 6/10 feet to an Iron
Pipe in the West R.O.W. line of the G.C. and S. F. Railroad,
MiENCH South 2 degrees 031 West with the West R.O.W.
line of said Railroad, 976 5/10 feet to the point of
beginning.
This property has not been sub-divided, and it is
not our intention to sub-divide it for residential construction. In
as much as said property lies immediately between two Industrial
Tracts, the National Guard Armory to the North and State Highway
property to the South, we feel that this property will be more
suitable for Industrial Development.
There is attached hereto and marked "Exhibit A" a
perimeter survey of the above described property.
Petitioner respectfully prays that the property herein
described be annexed to the City of Fort Worth as I light Industrial
and subject to the municipal control of the City of Fort Worth as
soon as possible.
