AN ORDINANCE CLOSING AND VACATING THREE SANI-
TARY SEWER EASEMENTS ACROSS BLOCKS 1 AND 2,
TOWERS ADDITION, AN ADDITION TO THE CITY OF
FORT WORTH, TARRANT COUNTY, TEXAS; AND PRO-
VIDING FOR THE REVERSION OF THE FEE TO SAID
LAND.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FORT WORTH, TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
That the hereinafter described sanitary sewer easements
across Block 1 and Block 2, Towers Addition to the City of
Fort Worth, Texas, a plat of which addition was filed of
record in Vol. 388-62, at page 32, of the Plat Records of
Tarrant County, Texas, and which easements are also shown of
record in that certain instrument dated October 28, 1968, and
recorded in Vol. 4638, at page 45, of the Deed Records of Tar-
rant County, Texas, be and the same are hereby vacated, ex-
tinguished, closed and permanently abandoned as easements for
sanitary sewer facilities:
The three sanitary sewer easements located
in Block 1 and Block 2, Towers Addition, an ad-
dition to the City of Fort Worth, Tarrant County,
Texas, each such easement being 5 feet right and
5 feet left of and parallel to each of the three
centerlines as more particularly described below:
Centerline - Permanent Easement No. 1
Beginning at a point in the northeast prop-
erty line which has a bearing of south 52 de-
grees 41 minutes east, said point being north
52 degrees 41 minutes west along the said north--
east property line, a distance of 86.0 feet from
the northeast corner of the said 5.31 acre tract;
Thence south 28 degrees 40 minutes west a
distance of 343.0 feet to a point;
Thence south 35 degrees 40 minutes west a
distance of 373.7 feet to a point in the south-
west property line which has a bearing of north
27 degrees 30 minutes west, said point being
north 27 degrees 30 minutes west along the said
property line a distance of 6.5 feet from the
southeast corner of the said 5.31 acre tract,
said corner being in the north right of way line
of Interstate Highway No. 20. (Reference -
Fort Worth 15-inch Sanitary Sewer Main No. 37)
Centerline - Permanent Easement No. 2
Beginning at a point in the southeast prop-
erty line of the said 5 .31 acre tract in the
north right of way line of Interstate Highway
No. 20, said point being south 36 degrees 51
minutes west, a distance of 19.3 feet to a
point, and continuing thence south 43 degrees
28 minutes west a distance of 322.9 feet along
the southeast property line from the northeast
corner of said tract;
Thence north 26 degrees 01 minute east a
distance of 248.0 feet to a point;
Thence north 32 degrees 25 minutes east a
distance of 125.0 feet to a point in the north-
east property line, which has a bearing of south
52 degrees 41 minutes east, said point being
north 52 degrees 41 minutes west along the said
northeast property line a distance of 95.0 feet
from the northeast corner of the said 5.31 acre
tract. (Reference - Fort Worth 24-inch Sanitary
Sewer Main No. 70)
Centerline Permanent Easement No. 3
Beginning at a point in the southeast prop-
erty line which has a bearing of south 43 de-
grees 28 minutes west in the north right of way
line of Interstate Highway No. 20, said point be-
ing south 36 degrees 51 minutes west a distance
of 19.3 feet; thence continuing south 43 degrees
28 minutes west a distance of 27.5 feet from the
northeast corner of said 5.31 acre tract;
Thence north 89 degrees 59 minutes west a
distance of 96.2 feet to an intersection with an
existing 15-inch sanitary sewer which has a bearing
of south 28 degrees 40 minutes west. (Reference -
Fort Worth 6-inch Sanitary Sewer Lateral L-2556)
SECTION 2.
That the interest of the City of Fort Worth in the fee
to the land in said easements above described is hereby re-
leased and shall revert to the adjacent owner of the fee as
provided by law.
SECTION 3.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4.
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full
force and effect from and after the date of its passage.

sanitary sewer line .easements-given.-the City on...October_ 28,,..1968, recorded
at Tarrant County .Court House .in..V.olume...A638, Page...45... .The three easements
are shown on the...attached map.
None..of .the .sewer line installations are._being..used,., .and:..the .Water Depart-
ment .has no objection to the release-of the easements. The easements are
requested to be released-..and .vacated. to-.provide..clear .title. to.both Blocks
1 and 2. of Towers- Addition.
Recommendations
It is recommended .that .the Mayor be directed to execute said release of
easements on .the behalf of the .City of Fort Worth.
